@@flashufo UNO Bus Red double decks are school buses (TfL contracted) .I see Purple ones daily in St.Albans/Hatfield/Borehamwood/Edgware and Queensbury ,much better than Sullivan Buses 15 to 20 year old shit 🇳🇬😐
@@robbiethebruce6488 yeah I agree it’s way better than Sullivan buses. And I’m not from them sides of London nor do I go school round them sides to know
@@NLTransport Quite right, 298 doesn't need more than 6 buses on weekdays, so like the 383 in Barnet, they can afford to lease some 10metre sized buses.
Dont get me wrong there were a fee AExx and Exx that flew up there too but for the most part them alexander denshits as i call them really struggled man it was so annoying
@@NLTransport Yes, but it was probably the School bus service as 699 (nowadays UNO operated),unless they ran a relief journey as 298, I've not looked at the timetable as it's not relevant to my area.
Was just driving this route the other day and now its unō, the heck happened🤷🏽♂️ I also used to drive the 614, 610, 653 and shuttle with unō When did they get these EH type buses tho😲
Check out my previous video on Sullivan’s leave that should help Yeahhh uno’s been expanding quickly in London, they’ve won a couple of sullivan’s school routes recently and now took over 298. They’ve only got one of these MMCs, ex tower transit DH!
Even the Scania omnicities are new in UNŌ
Flipping beautiful!! Looks good, sounds good, just hope UNO refurbish the rest of the fleet like this too
Its very nice! They probably will considering they’ve refurbished something as new as an mmc
Thesedeckers are normally used on their TFL Schools. Wander what they'll use come September weekdays when there back on their usual routes
I’m curious too but maybe they’ll be able to buy a few buses by then, they’d only need 4 and UNŌ is funded by Uni of herts
Best e400 mmc I’ve seen in my life
@@flashufo where you been all your life?, plenty of E400mmc around Herts and North London in pristine condition. 👀
@@robbiethebruce6488 tell me the last time you’ve seen a TFL uno e400mmc. I don’t care that it’s clean I just like the purple

It really feels like non-TfL lol. I wonder if UNO will last in London unlike the others...
It’ll be easier for uno to survive since they’re funded by university of Herts

it’s like 69 when it was tower transit they had mmc’s for only that route
This will defo get up that hill before potters bar!
Yeah the first journey clip is on that hill. It did it with ease!

The AEs were pretty good for the route, the Es yeah not so much
It has blinds, not LED Ones
Obviously a temporary measure until UNO ((if they're taking it up permanently)lease some more single decks, hopefully not BYD's
Isn’t 298 a double decker route? And I think it’s permanent for UNO
@@NLTransport 298 is normally a single decks route, emergency coverage by UNO using spare red buses during school holidays only.
@@robbiethebruce6488 didn’t it use double deckers at sullivan

well...
I’m hoping to get a scania on the route when I visit potters bar
One’s been doing it!
Nice one, they also got yy64gxg which is the first built MMC
