i love this so much - being from the UK and born in 2000 clay animation shows and movies like Pingu, Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Chicken Run were such a big part of my childhood and it's so cool to see that people in a completely different country experienced some of the same childhood things

I was also born in 2000 and from the US and I fell in love with claymation thanks to all the shows you mentioned. I used to have vhs tapes of Wallace and Gromit I’d always watch😊😌

I won't say the name of THAT Episode, But the reason why it was SO HATED is because, it has a Scary looking Walrus.
(Fact: I actually didn't watch that episode either, I only know about that episode from UA-cam video (Especially the Pingu rant one))

그리고 둘의 이름은 대부분 반대로 알고계시는데

I can't believe they mentioned Chicken Run, it is one of my favorite movies. I loved the chicken that knitted. Even now when one of us is having a hard time we'll say "Back from holiday?" and we'll all start laughing. :)
Watching Chicken Run as a kid, I remember asking my parents why chickens were having holidays all the time lol. I didn't realize a "holiday" was a vacation that had nothing to do with an actual holiday.

The series was popular in Korea for kids born in early 90s(me!). I've got the VCR tapes of it at home watched over and over 😆

wallace & gromit is super popular in the uk, i remember watching it when i was younger! it sounds weird, but i feel kind of proud that they enjoyed it. 💞
I honestly feel like it's one of our best cultural exports, as a nation. Not only is it incredibly British but its also so Yorkshire. They didn't shy away from making it hyper-generalised in its Britishness but chose to accurately represent the sensibilities of the area that Wallace is from.

As a kid I always though it's just a Czech thing
In the Netherlands it's still a thing, but we call them Buurman en Buurman(Neighbour and Neighbour). Our version has dialogue and after fixing a problem they always say 'A je to!'. I honestly thought this was a Dutch production because its still popular and ones in a while they organize these theater productions for kids. I never thought Pingu was a Dutch production because I honestly believed they were speaking an other language😂😂
I remember loving pingu when I was younger and Wallace and gromit. I actually got to meet will betcher, a film director who worked on shaun the sheep farmageddon movie ( I got to meet shaun and Lula as well!) he worked on chicken run and Wallace and gromit as well I believe ❤️

For some factoids! Wallace and gromit warehouse has a huge fire a while back which destroyed a lot of the models. They did come back recently with a few movies but if your looking for more from that group I highly recommend Shaun the sheep series and movies!!!💓
