Alison followed Esther's advise on how to find the right husband to a tee. Find a man who you distain his every word and if he persists then marry him, Lol! Was so happy that Captain Fraser was persistent and got his girl! Fantastic storyline for them.

Wish they would have had more screen time - they were the best part of S2 IMO. Love the banter and the chemistry! Capt. Fraser is definitely among the great heroes of Austen, despite the fact she never wrote him! A worthy successor to Darcy, Knightly and Col. Brandon!

@@jeanettesagarsee5582 I agree on both counts. Thought him the better suitor from the start. The actress that plays Alison is so very beautiful. I had to rearrange my thinking from the young actress who played her in the first season, but I got there😉❤️
Their back and forth sarcasm with each other is adorable. I love them as a couple, they are wholesome.
These two lit up the screen. Such a welcome light this season. They shared the same type of sparks that Esther and Babbington shared in S1. The well written back and forth was a delight to watch! Here’s hoping we see more of them in S3 since it doesn’t seem Babbington makes it back.

I won't be biased by choosing the main protagonist, but my favorite characters till now are Esther, Arthur and capt.Fraser.

Oh no, if Capt. Fraser had to suffer "second rate" status -- despite being tall, handsome, and charming, like the kind of man who would (for example) be cast as an actor in a TV show -- what long odds must the rest of male-kind face!

Am I the only one who really hated watching Alison and her storyline, she was such a loud nitwit and these two hogged the screen which was so annoying because Colbourne and Charlotte really had no screen time because of them. They appeared out of nowhere and hogged the screen, WHY? the girl alison was so annoying and barely intersting to watch , Fraiser was ok. but never take time away from the lead characters storylines please. hope they have fixed that mistake and given colbourne and charlotte 75-80% of the screen time next season.

The dances seem so silly. I can’t see men actually knowing how to do all that. All the hand motions and twisting around...
