It's not like they're buying her old underwear but you guys are stereotyping these men as perverts. They are fans - they like her and this is a legal, safe way to show that appreciation. That uniform is CLEARLY a treasured piece of Somi's past. A one of a kind piece of nostalgia that comes directly from her life experiences. As a huge fan of SNSD's Sooyoung, if I had the chance to buy something like that, I would and then I would frame it and put it somewhere to cherish. I'd look at and be inspired by the level of hard work. I'd think about how much she struggled and pulled through to be not only a 3rd degree black belt but also an idol. Fans are like that - not all of them are perverts and in fact most of the time K-fans seem to prefer the young and cute look over sexy anyway. I'll admit I don't know anything about I.O.I so I have no idea how they're being marketed but the one song they showed here was cute and the dance was cute and even the outfit of choice in the video was cute. Maybe JYP is sexualizing her but that does NOT mean that the male fans are stroking it to he picture every night. I just feel that the top comments at least, are being quite cruel to the fans based on ugly stereotypes that were in no way indicated here.
