The idea is definitely good, and I like the design. However, I'd be concerned about the roof. There is a lot of wind where I live, and that roof would turn into a sail very quickly or worse - fly off into the sunset. Not sure how I'd design it though. A connecting rod to the rear, perhaps?
The custom fiber is so much work. Took one man three years to do one on a bike I did many years ago. Now I'm building one similar to this but it's not working out right. But You have found the answers!
