Love this recipe, thanks Jill! I added a bunch of chopped parsley and homemade vegan parm. I may experiment with an instant pot version next time. 💚
Thank you, thank you for a bolognese that doesn’t use lentils! 🙏🏻 I do like lentils, mainly in soups, but texturally, I can’t bear them in dishes like this or shepherds pie. This looks so delicious and I’m definitely making it this weekend! 😋
Yes!!! I made one with lentils and I couldn't stand it without adding a ton more sauce. At that point it was just a gritty marinara!
Happy Saturday to all & another yummy recipe from Jill!!!
I can't wait to try this! ❤️
Uncle of Max, Walter and Lilly here. Just saw the snapchat reaction to your shout-out, and it was priceless! Funny enough, thanks to them insisting we watch your channel on my recent visit, I just made your pineapple upside-down cake yesterday. Been binge watching your videos since, and you have opened my eyes to a lot of whole food options I didn't know I had.
I grew up with Julia Child, and your show hits that perfect balance between informative, fun and just plain wholesome. She opened my eyes to the joy of cooking, and you're opening my eyes to the joy of plant based cooking!
Oh my gosh! That is wonderful! That just made my day 😊😊😊😊
Jeff and I would love to see that video if you are able to share it. Support@plantbasedcookingshow.com
haha just received copy of cook book and furiously searched for pineapple upside-down cake recipe in here.......not here.......
The best part of any of your shows is at the table when you take that first bite. Oh yes, I be cooking tonight!
Looks absolutely Yum and Easy. Making it for dinner tonight. And, I have all ingredients in fridge and pantry.
Your cooking is amazing healthy.
It's so early here but I'm so hungry now. ☺
Yum, looks so good!
I love watching your channel. You make cooking this way so easy.
thank you
A fantastic & yummy 😋WFPB Bolognese recipe Jill. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Jill.
now I'm craving this. got to make it this afternoon
You don’t know it, but you just accidentally added carrots to my shopping list. And I don’t even need them! LOL I was watching the video and telling Alexa to add mushrooms to my shopping list and she heard you say carrots immediately after so she added them too! Gotta love technology. Can’t wait to try this different version of vegan Bolognese. Thank you.
Hmmmmmm yummy I can't wait to try my hands on this. Thank you for showing us all these nutritious foods 👍
I think you are finally going to get me to use mushrooms! This looks so yummy. I've avoided mushrooms...just not my thing. But..you are tempting me!!
I agree, you should try it. I used to hate mushrooms too but now they are one of my favorites ❤️👍
Thank you
I use a spray bottle of water to sauté things like onions, garlic, mushrooms etc.
Nice little recipe.
Small white, button, cremini and portobello are all the same mushroom; just at different stages of growth.
This was delicious 😋
What a beauty.
Im gona try this one today; is it refined pasta thought?
Balsamic vinegar is good in Bolognese
Hi there, what do you eat for breakfast, I don't like sweet breakfast, something salty, it so hard, I don't like toffy. Any idea, thanks in advance.
Would Extra Firm tofu or mushrooms work for the sausage replacement???
Sounds just awesome and although I try to steer away from "modern wheat" I'll make this for my occasional pasta treat. Jill, did you use salt while boiling the pasta? I know you don't use salt as far as I saw, but pasta cooked without salt ... eek!
I doubt it. I never add salt to the water so I guess I don’t know what I’m missing.
@@mamakins5123 Well that's good! Married to an Italian chef we always put coarse salt in the water, but now I use Himalayan salt. I don't think I could bear it without salt. I envy you 😂
@@jeandixon586 I do love my salt but really notice when extra is added. I’m afraid if I tried it with salt it would be another habit for me to break.
Greast recipie n fkavirful ingrefient discriotion Vudro! Great job Chief!
Hi, I am looking for no sodium, not low sodium pasta sauces. I know all whole foods have salts in them - your recipe doesn't list the ingredients as having added salts but it states - Sodium: 425mg
Potassium: 405mg Is this added salts and potassium?
The nutritional info is an online service where we list the ingredients and it automatically calculates it but some of the ingredients like canned tomatoes don’t give the option of salt free. Other than that we only use low sodium tamari or Braggs liquid aminos for a low sodium salty flavor but you can absolutely leave that out.
If you had a dinner for 50 people, and were making a bolognese and an alfredo sauce to top the pasta, how much would you make?
This bolognese recipe serves 6 so I would do 9 -10 batches
Wow, Jill❣️ I sure wish SMELLavision was a reality, looks amazing!
Added no salt 😭😭
I add vegan cashew cheese to the sauce. I pour the spoonful of the sauce over my vegan lentil meatballs just enough so the meatballs don't get soggy. Thanks again for your expertise. It has been a tough journey at times flipping flop always coming back to vegan meals. Meat is now becoming very disgusting to me. If I can't kill it myself to eat, why eat it.
This is delicious! I made it and loved it. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
