If you follow all of the steps in the video then you will get a fully custom domain name that will not have .onrender or .render!

Hey Trigon, if you upload a website to render, you will not see it on Google Domains.
You first need to buy a domain on google domains and then follow the steps starting at 1:13.
I also have a video showing how to buy a google domain here: ua-cam.com/video/So3yP6PVgpg/v-deo.html.

If I get an 'ã' on my domain, how do I put that on render? it says Invalid domain, but it has it, now what? gotta buy with an 'a' instead?

I’m not sure if render supports domains with that character so if render is saying that it is an invalid domain, then you will probably have to buy the same domain without that special character

I'm sure its late but this might help someone else. For domains that have such (unicode) characters, you'll have to convert it to punycode. It is stated in render docs for configuring custom domains.
