Dimash produces/arranges all of the songs he sings with the help of his sound producer/music arranger, Yerlan Bekchurin. This song is a cover, original song by Vitas. The I Am Singer 2017 competition for professional singers that Dimash competed in China had rules that required all world famous covers except for one original song by the competitor. If you hear the Vitas version, there are no dynamic variations in his voice nor in how he sings the song. Dimash sang the song one more time at a guest performance then Vitas told Dimash he couldn't sing it again. Ah, well. You can never remove Dimash's Singer videos as they had permission to broadcast it. 😆

At the time Dimash sang this, Opera 2 was well-known in China and Russia. It was being played on most radio stations. The audience, which was all music professionals knew this song very well, and was very aware of what Dimash was doing, going up three half-tones instead of Vitas’ one.
The original singer Vitas is famous for his high notes and this song, but even he changed key only once. I don’t remember Vita‘s version very well. Please be sure of your facts before you state that The Story of One Sky was the most expensive video ever made; no-one is sure of the exact cost. (Personally, I feel there may have been a translation issue that led to that idea - possibly, instead of ‘most expensive’, Dimash may have meant ‘most valuable’.) Dimash is classical educated opera singer with voice range of 7,2 octave and he can sing in every register, male or female, bas, bariton, tenor, cauntratenor, alto, mezosoprano and soprano, but he don't want to sing only opera because he hate to put him in a category that's why he sing popopera because his idols is Lara Fabian and Michael Jekson

The problem, as I understand it, was they did NOT have permission to broadcast it, so Vitas’ recording company protested and threatened to sue.
