@@AwesomeMooseSmile Besides the wings that stick straight out, his transformation is pretty show accurate. Besides I like the chunky wings and I feel that a modern figure would have slimmer wings. Definitely still my favorite BW figure.

@@davidpulipati2865 it's the opposite actually. The "mask" is actually aren't mask, but a retooled face that is planned to be used for generation selects version of this mold. This blackarachnia, officially, aren't supposed to come with that.
One of my first figures from this line and one of my favorites. She legit looks like her Beast Wars incarnation! Her beast form while you can see many robot kibble still looks good.
Wow! That transformation is amazing. They just keep outdoing theirselves in the WFC line. I hope the next line keeps this direction and giving us these updated versions of older characters. Great review.
Honestly I think this toy looks better and more solid than the Masterpiece version. All of these Kingdom Toys look great, I'm really impressed, and I'm not even planning to get most of the Beastie boys (and girls).
I actually think that the red deal for black arachnia is based off of a red back spider, not a black widow, because the red hourglass shape should be on the bottom of the abdomen .
This figure is really, really good! Her robomode looks awesome, but with one issue-her torso and her shin holey. Poseability quite good. No swiwle at wrist is sad, but OH PRIMUS-this knee bend when you use (or you don't) transformation part at her hip is best in the world! Hinge at the neck also amazing. Engineering of transformation amazing. Spider mode looks really good. It is not 100% REAL LIFE ACURATE, but really good looking. But if her fingers bother you-you can imagine they are spider warts (yes, they are really big, but it is prehistoric Earth creature). Weapon storage good. I only wish spider mode has more poseability in legs.
I'm not a BW fan but I do like the Blackarachnia figures. I have about 3 different versions so far and this one will make number 4. I'd even buy retools and repaints of this version to add to my IDW "Fate Weaver's collection. Good review!

I guess Dinobot could if u wanna put his tail back on but that’d look ridiculous. I feel like all of the robot modes should have weapon storage.

The mold detail on the back of her head are probably an homage of the original toy which was a repaint of Tarantulas and the head tilted ninety degrees. I had the original toys of Waspinator and Black Arachnia, both had a head tilt thing which gave them a new face. This was a gimick that some of the first wave of Best wars toys had. I didn't know why it was a thing at the time, but thinking about it now it was a cost saving measure when they would repaint them into other characters but with a different head mold.
I'm interested in getting most of the BW figures, since I never really grew up with the show but I loved the characters when I got around to watching it. So far, I'm looking forward at getting Cheetor, Blackarachnia and Dinobot the most
Imo I wish there’s was a purple variant. At least for the face and with some accents. I really liked the Animated colors over the mostly gold. Also liked the normal hands. Never did like the claws.

@@PrimeVsPrime bad news, the tab's broken but it's still loosely attached to the piece. It broke after 2 or 3 transformations there's not much that can be done about it but it's still a functional figure
I would've liked for her to have been a couple of inches smaller as she was shorter than Cheetor, and the rest of the Maximals except Rattrap of course.
I'm really hoping we get some non Beast Wars but still beast themed characters in Kingdom like Skybyte or Deathsaurus but mainly Liokaiser, I really want them to do a new figure of him because he's my favorite combiner and I like his individual bots. Either as a box set or separate I don't care, I don't even care if they're done the same way they did the Seacons in Generations Selects, as long as they are their own molds like what they did with Devastator and Predaking. I just really really want a new Liokaiser
I won't hold up hope, but I'd like to see a Waspinator in the Kingdom line. Like, he is one of the most well-loved Predacons, so I'd like to think he'll get a figure.
So they didn’t even saw that her legs are orange/gold ? Her shell’s red design is wrong and her beast mode head is missing -again- the orange/gold details. Spider front legs should be longer too. It’s a pitty because it’s a good effort and with those details I mentioned , it would be awesome.
It’s incredible how show accurate this figure manages to be at such a low price point. The spider mode doesn’t even look that much worse than the masterpiece.
Back in 96, this is the Blackarachnia I wanted. Instead we got Tarantulas in Drag-arachnia. By the way I still have her. She is missing some spider legs though.
I just got mine and gotta say it’s a mess- spider legs have almost no poseablity, spider mode can’t stand up properly due to it being back heavy, hands don’t tab in worth anything and the harpoon weapon doesn’t stay tabbed in either. Robot mode looks amazing and has a decent amount of motion you can get her into and is very show accurate which I love I wish that the tarantulas mold got produced first then got remolded into black arachnia cuz this mold is atrocious with the problems listed but it’s a good figure nonetheless if your a fan of beast wars
PrimeVsPrime why are reviewers refusing to show Blackarachnia with her mask? I know it’s not show accurate but it comes with the figure and would like to see how the figure looks with it on and how it is installed.
Just bought it from local toy store. Strangely, fresh from the box I found the peg of doom on her chest already broken/shortened. Trying to get the gun attached on her belly during beast mode is really annoying. Great robot mode, weakest beast mode in my collection so far.
It's like what is the point of getting the MP figures? Sure, they'll be more accurate to the show but these are quite a bit cheaper and seem to be pretty solid so far, even with some of her issues.

I think they changed Blackarachnia from a black widow spider into an Australian red-back spider, a spider in the same family as the black widow.
Is it me or is her. Um er....chest plate look bigger than her mp counterpart. But in all I want to see tarantulas next

I do actually love the shoulder joints at the front, it looks a lot like the sort or mouth-legs that tarantulas have

switched them legs and weapons a long time ago on my old figures to have a purple and gold tarantula and a black blackarachnia.
Cool spider mode but the lack of range in the robot legs ruins it.

Her claws look like quite convincing spinnerets (web dispensers) in the correct place too. Shame about the giant feet though.
