me: huh, wonder why murphy has a bunch of manga if he doesn't really dig manga? sean murphy: this series is about you know a guy driving a datsun around me: got it. got it got it got it.
PROXIMO is his name brother. From Gladiator YES.You totally floored this old broken down warmachine when I saw my/your painting on your inaugural video!!! Much love and all the respect!!! Love that you have jumped on the Tube!!!
Really enjoyed the tour, Sean. It’s beautiful how you set everything up! I know you said you don’t want to be a "youtuber" but I dig the conversational tone and pace and would love to see more videos. Do you ever live-stream your self inking?
Dude, you exude class and taste. Beautiful space, view and vehicles. Thanks for sharing it. By the way, great Willow reference, no one can pull of the Pick! Like Val.
Hi SGM ! Interesting studio tour. I'm a french fan of your art. I'm impressed by your automobile and vehicule drawing. Here in France, Urban comics did a great work publishing your comics. I can't wait to read "The Plot holes" when it's gonna be in comics store here. Enjoy your life and see you soon, Clément from Burgundy !
Your small diecast Batwing was made by Ertl. Your small painting is Oliver Reed from Gladiator, in the role of Proximo. Voyager has awesome episodes but a shaky beginning, and a shaky end. You are not the only Rocketeer fan. Thanks for the tour
You have my grandpa Harry Borgman’s book on your shelf. How rad. His other “how to” on illustration(yellow with an Indy car on the cover) is my favorite. He passed earlier this year at 91 and lived his whole life as a working artist. I have some original pages from the book you own. We’re still parting out his estate, so I’m getting a lot of his fine art. I’m looking forward to plot holes. Have a great day sir!
That original Spider-Man 2099 run with Rick Leonardi was great. I read it for the first time last year and I remember being massively impressed with the artwork too.
Hey man great video. I would love to see your thought process, going from a line in a script-to layout-to a full page. it's very unique that you write-pencil-ink most of your work it would be interesting to see your work flow.
Dave Stevens love his art! and gonna finish your Batman Curse of the white knight later today as i got Book Eight yesterday!! cheeeyyaahh!! Thanks for sharing patna!
9:29 "Sometimes i feel like I am the only Rocketeer fan" No. There's another. A few times I've outlined ideas for how the Rocketeer would fit into a rag tag group of off-beat WW2 era heroes; like the Shadow, Green Hornet & Kato, Black Bat, the Phantom, Miss Masque, etc. somewhere between the JSA and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Katherine Zeta Jones has been burned into my kid brain ever since.
Can't wait for your next project! Good to see you have come a long way in comics! Back in the days you gave some very useful tips via DeviantArt especially regarding Bluewater Comics! :) ... thanks for this and rock on! Can you post a link to the IndieGoGo?
Awesome, thank you Sean for sharing this :) Looking forward to this indiegogo, is there any newsletter or subscription to get info when it starts? Cheers.
my jaw DROPPED with your cardboard vehicle design! One question. do you think your posters may fade with time exposed to that much sunlight/natural light bouncing everywhere? or is there anything protecting them from fading? idk if thats a concern to you though hehe Your studio is AMAZING and inspiring. thanks for the tour!

Sick setup. Who would win in a fight? Mad mardagan vs Aragorn?
Next time try Shooting in landscape mode
I have the same pile of comics from people who inspire me on hand next to my drawing tablet. Funny, one of them is yours
Daww, that's wholesome.

@1:20 - Am I the only one bugged by an artist referring to their art as "art shit"?
Nice studio tour where you skip the art tools and work place, you know the actual art studio part.
Willow is the best Lucasfilm!
