The Toll of the Sea is a tragic silent film about an American sailor falling in love with a young Chinese woman, Lotus Flower played by the amazing Anna May Wong, but then second guesses their relationship leaving her behind in China with a son, and her wondering if he has forgotten about her.
This film was the second film to ever use Technicolor which regards it as stepping stone into what the future would hold, movies in color.
