Riding a 200kg bike in sandals? Not so sure of that mate, I have ridden a few CB500X's but either a stiff hiking boot or full MX boot only. Anyway, enjoying the CBX?
Yeah you're right it's a bad habit I've developed. Bike fits me and the family well. I just need to upgrade to stronger suspension when it is available hopefully soon
@@MotoRidesVietnam up to you mate. I can't imagine the foot damage slipping on the CBX while wearing flip flops.To each their own but I suggest wearing at least a sneaker or hiking boot for around town. I think it's a good bike for VN in terms of +250cc but don't think it's ride for me now.
@@bjh2997 True! And it's common to wear sandals riding around because it's convenient, low speed, and the norm in Vietnam. But I tried it once and felt uncomfortable as hell. So I wear tennis shoes around town or my hiking sandals at least if I need shoes for a rainy day. I have only been here a little over 3 years, so I haven't adopted Vietnamese driving habits yet.

The lad has been riding just a few years on a lot more crazy fast bikes than that.😂😂
