New Bohemians · Edie Brickell ... Heck YEAH!!!!!
Fantastic!
Wow!! Fantastic!
Love this man ! I could rock to that :)
Sounds great. I’ve got the GR-55 Guitar Synth and it comes in handy. I can play keys and guitar but have no clue when it comes to horns. So often horns can make/break a song. 😎🤘
Why that first song is not in a movie soundtrack is beyond me.... That was very Awesome! Thank you for producing some good music. I'd love to collab in the future...❤
great~
very good
Great loop Matt….
Matt been following you for a few years since you had a few hundred subs so its sick to see you starting to get the love you deserve brother! Keep it up.
Thank you, glad you’ve stuck around!
Freaking amazing. I can barely do anything with my RC5 besides trip over it! :-)
Great ..
This is really awesome - you really kill it
This is a set I could keep coming back to...the beck cover is amazing
Awesome show as always, Matt! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us!!
Brilliant!
You really pull off the one man band thing brilliantly, m8. I may have to invest in an RC 600 after watching this (been looping a number of years, but nothing this sophisticated.) Well done.
Wow !! Blown away !! What a multi instrumentalist you are Matt - fabulous vocals , saxophone, guitar , piano , drum hits , lead guitar . Has an ambient feel , alive and as beautiful as the evening you are laying in - absolutely first rate musicianship all the way through - keep it pumping man you are a maestro -thanks for baring and sharing your soul - it’s beautiful 👏👏👏👏👏🙏🌏✌️
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words.
Love the grateful dead tunes 🙌 hell yea I need that drum pad
Wow! Wicked saxofone 🔥
That Althea cover is incredible. The whole performance. Thank you for sharing your music.
Woahhh that was sick
Wow, you are absolutely amazing! Your mastery of multiple instruments and the way you create music with a loop station is incredibly mesmerizing. As a fellow German musician, I can't emphasize enough how much your videos have ignited my creativity and served as a profound source of inspiration. You're not just a musician; you're a creative genius and a role model for artists like me worldwide. 🌟🎵 #MusicalGenius #Inspiration 🙌 #bossrc600
Thank you!
Glad you like it! Thank you! Danke!
mine too , he is a genius
I love this show Matt. Been there makes me homesick
Fricken awesome, watched the whole thing and loved it. What an entertainer you are sir ❤❤
Thank you. Please check out some of my more recent videos!
Bravo! Truly impressive looping work!
Absolutely amazingb
Awesome performance 👏
Sehr toll , super Musiker ein Vollblut. Toller Gesang und tolle Songs
🎉🎉🎉🎉
That’s lovely and I like your work and style!
I’m a multi instrument player as well and thinking about preforming as well and after seeing you it helped me understand that I might don’t need a daw for start looping!
Impressionnant !
Love it man. Props to you for taking the leap. Im on the edge.
late night rabbit hole for loops...wow
Great playing, tone and loop work. Bravo!
That load in, set up , and the turn around to that looks like a hellava effort.. I used to lug a lot of gear around for my solo shows . If I was as good as you it might be worth it. Onward gunslinger …
cool beats to kick off the set !
This is beyond amazing
Amazing talent!!❤
really great!!
Thanks!
Great work bud. Pure talent and hard work. Keep it up!
Sounds gr8
Great looping. Love those panned delays on your guitar.
Sweet sound and setup! Not a bad location for a gig either, I'd imagine
Complimenti!!
oh man! you are awesome! Thank you for the RC-600 review
awesome stuff Matt! What a great setup and massive talent!
very impressive, dude
Absolutely outstanding performance and sound quality, so impressive. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you!
Matt! Keep it rollin´! The whole emsemble is insane. People, listen to the whole song, so you can enjoy the full program.
Killer voice
Un escenario precioso. Acorde a la música.
Amazing what you can do, I am trying it out too, still learning at home though! Man you're good!
Thank you! Yes, the RC600 is amazing. Check out some of my newer videos or subscribe and watch a live show almost every night. See you in the chat, request a song!
Hey fellow multi-instrumental looper :) This popped up in my feed, I recognized the Reface and the KTMP1 and clicked outta curiosity. MAN am I glad I did. I've only seen a few bits here and there so far but you're obviously a master at this and I'll be coming back to study up. Love watching how different people approach looping, esp. at this level.
Outta curiosity, have you used the Boomerang at all? I use it with the sidecar but I've been thinking about switching to something like an RC600. The Boomerang's super old, routing is limited, but I love the Serial mode option for playing more complicated songs. I'll be going through this whole thing later to learn how you manage multiple chord sequences, but yeah, just fantastic work dude. Congrats on kicking ass :)
Thanks. Not a fan of the boomerang. The RC-600 does every thing it does and more. This video is old, check out some of my recent videos and just buy this amzn.to/3zacUWo
Been following you for a month now. I’m a musician in Orange County CA. I play about 2-4 shows a week and started looking 50 days ago. ( when I bought my rc-600)
The audience LOVES IT! My question is. What do you charge? How much should I charge for bars and restaurant gigs.
Hey man. That’s art and science in beautiful action. Please, what is the percussion pad you are using?
I think I need one! Cheers
Thanks! Here's the link amzn.to/3UFc8YE
Danke!
Danke!
sounds great! Im trying to getting into the one man gigging game! You sound quality is suburb. Vocal effects (reverb, harmonized melodies) make it sound so much better.
Thanks!
Teşekkürler.
Thanks!
That drum doesn't look safe wobbling around haha. Sounds good though man
wow, the only thing that makes me nervous is how the drum pad wobbles. I don't know if a more sturdy stand would help or not. I'm wondering how you do the vocal harmony. I have the rc-600. I just got it and am still trying to figure it out. This is a great setup for live looping. Very nice. I love it.
The vocal harmonies are likely from a separate harmonizer pedal. I have the TC Helicon Harmony GXT, and I love it.
Bless your heart. The comment is very nice.
Very nice. What did you use to make the guitar sound like a bass? Was it onboard the rc600 or something else?
amzn.to/3KRQjAE
Awesome as usual!
Are you using a snare stand for your keyboards?
Yes, it's just a tall snare stand
Hi Matt, you inspiring me! Can I ask you the name of the pad drum that you are using in your performance? Tx
Glad to hear it! amzn.to/43WEYHi
Are you going into a mixer before the RC, or is everything a direct into the RC? Very curious about your signal chain here!
Yes. I use the greatest mixer of all time. amzn.to/4bLcB2E
i like this snare drum sound! is this one of the stock sounds on the hpd20? thanks!
Yes and no. I heavily edit all the sounds. I don't use anything stock.
thats good to know, thanks for everything! @@MattBoltonMusic
Not sure what song your playing at 52:30 but it sounds great 👍
Thanks. It’s called “What I Am” by Edie Brickell.
Are those Fender suitcases for carrying gear?
Those are the finest Fender amplifiers that money can't buy! The secret to my tone! Hand-made and hand-wired by the ghost of Leo Fender himself! 😜
@MattBoltonMusic I have watched you for many hours I appreciate all that you do, with that said, until I saw this comment I've never zoomed in to see what kind of fenders those were😂😅
What do you use for drum parts? Beat Buddy? The RC-600? Or the electric bongo ?
Watch any of my videos and you should be able to see what I'm doing. I'm performing a drum part live, recording it with the RC-600 live, and it plays it back. That's what looping is! There are no drum machines. No previously recorded parts. Nothing at all previously recorded. No drum parts. No sequencers. Etc. etc. It's all just on-the-fly looping. The drum pad is just an instrument, just like the guitar or keyboard. You perform on it as you would any other instrument. You play the drums on it. It doesn't do anything for you. You have to play the drums, while recording them in a loop. It's not a drum machine. Hope that clears it up.
I was wondering what the name is for the horn you are using? Do you have an affiliate link? I'd like to buy one possibly.
amzn.to/4aaVMx3
Althea!
Whats the name of the drum pad? I'm a busker too. I live loop but my drum pad sucks. You rock
I use this- amzn.to/3MPrOph
and this
amzn.to/3MqfTOl
Too expensive for me. Thanks for the response@@MattBoltonMusic
Are those harmony effects straight from the RC-600?
No. The RC-600 harmony algorithm is pretty terrible. I use this amzn.to/42b2aB9 it's the only thing that sounds good.
@@MattBoltonMusic thanks for the reply, yea currently using a TC Helicon voice live 2, but trying to cut my pedal board down in size and only use the harmony on that giant pedal.
Your mix, especially your guitar tone is amazing! I don’t know what you’re using, but I’m ready to sell everything and start over lol
Incredible! congratulations!! You make it look like it was easy, when actually it is not so much hahaha. How do you manage your tracks on a regular basis? I mean, for example track 1 for percussion alone, track 2 for the verse with keys, guitar and bass, Track 3 for chorus with keys, guitar and bass... I struggling to define a way to work that I can always use, like a method. Thanks in advance and congrats again!
Hi Matt, What kind of drum machine are you using?
I use this Percussion Instrument amzn.to/49maTnJ
It's not a "drum machine" technically. Drum machines play the drums themselves. The HPD is an instrument rather than a programmed drum machine. It's a subtle distinction but it's important to me because I'm performing the drum part and not just having a drum machine play it. Please check out my newer videos where I use amzn.to/3QLDxat this as well.
Glad you enjoyed the show, watch a livestream and say hello in the chat sometime. Thanks!
@@MattBoltonMusic thanks for gettin back to me ! Would you recommend the pad? The other product is way out of my budget at this time.
No mixer just the 600...right
No. I use a mixer.
33:00 who is artist what song is this
The Golden Age by Beck
one green yellow flag pereimenoval
too busy. IMHO
Haha. I agree! 300 gigs a year all over the country is way too busy. But everyone keeps booking me for more and more money for better and better gigs. It’s exhausting being a busy professional musician. I need a break! 🫠
Demora muito, de uma musica para outra!
what is this ????
