Onew has one of the best & uniques voices. You should listen to Circle, Beatdrum & Maestro. They are amazing. Blue is great if you like ballads. & Dice is a brighter song. I would start with the first 3 I think you would like more. He is my SHINee bias. But love all of them. They are all so talented. ❤ Thank you.
- The song's broadly about hikikomori, a Japanese word for people who end up spending their entire lives inside their homes without leaving. It's becoming a bigger social problem in Korea as well. - Yep, that painting is the stylized logo of his new label! He painted all the paintings in the MV - yep, even Wilson. 😂 - The aspect ratio changes once he gets outside. - lolol He turned 35 on the 14th! He does look pretty young. (There's an affectionate joke in the SK entertainment industry that every time SHINee makes a comeback, it gets promoted in news articles as, "From boys to men!", same as it has been since 2010... even though the members are all over 30 at this point.) - The title of the MV (pronounced Manse) is a Korean word that's the equivalent of "banzai" in Japanese - it literally means "long life," but in casual talk, it means... "Yay!" The exclamation "Assa!" also means yay, but it's kind of outdated nowadays. Oh yeah, and this was a pre-release single! The EP's coming out on January 6.
You will love the Jeongyeon inspector episode with Onew, they match each other energy and it's so fun. Like someone else mentioned the album comes out on January 6th. But a really fun song, thanks for the reaction. Is "manse" the Korean word that is basically a cheer(?) with your hands up similar as a "yay" and it's a pre release
