Greetings, Mr. Jalal. Just came across your video and this is the first video of yours which I have watched just now. First, I liked your presentation on this topic in a simple and lucid manner. You have conveyed the message precisely and to the point. I would like to appreciate your sustained efforts in creating this video (contents) and my heart felt special thanks to your team behind the scene. And thank you for the material support. Most importantly, the reason for posting this review is to thank you especially for your service to this society. Your kindness in sharing this wisdom of yours to empower the youth and others (including myself) to improve our english grammar and communication skills is truly inspiring. Indeed, we are so lucky and blessed to have a mentor like you who could teach us in our native language. One thing that I have always wondered like, (why) my life feels empty on one side. I have received many help and benefits from this society: knowledge, care and support etc., But, I haven't paid anything in return yet. I've always felt like I am indebted to this society one way or another for all the experience I have received. But I can't find a way to repay my gratitude and I am still working on it. Hope I will discover it soon. But, seeing your efforts and service has truly inspired me to work towards my goal with much enthusiasm and determination. Yes, and truly an eye opener that has proved me that I too could (should) do my part. Please, continue your work in inspiring more people in forthcoming years. And we all have a long way to go. And surely, I will pray to God to bless you with happiness and good health. Take good care. And sorry for any grammatical mistakes that I have made.
Hello, Thank you for the nice words. You have a good command over English; there is no mistake at all. Secondly, I don't have a team. I work all alone from home. As you have rightly said, by doing these video lessons, I am repaying whatever I got from our society. Tamil apart, Tamil people have to be strong on another language, preferable in English, as, presently, this the language of Science, medicine, law and most importantly Information Technology. If not we will be simply brushed aside. Nice to respond to you. Best wishes.
@@MJalalEnglishforTamils Thank you for your valuable reply and feedback Mr. Jalal. It's good to hear from you. But, I am really surprised to know that you are working independently. I really appreciate your sustained efforts. Seems to be an arduous task. But, a caring heart with concern for other's upliftment and mind ignited with great passion- when focused upon a mission of utmost importance, knows no pain nor tiredness. Knowledge is the only wealth that grows with sharing, wherein both giver and the receiver are benefited. It is the only tool that can impact the lives of others greatly. Please continue on your mission, so that we all shall be relieved of our ignorance. To be honest, you are the first person to give me a positive feedback about my English knowledge. But still, I need to improve alot & I still face a lot of challenges when coming to my conversations with others. Some are: 1) Opening a conversation: With good energy and enthusiasm. Greeting with a smile, making a friendly eye-contact and building a good rapport and creating a good impression. The root cause that think I face here is because of my shyness (I feel awkward to admit), nervousness, lack of confidence or the fear of getting ridiculed; and anything else that I might have missed (I'm leaving it to your experience and expertise to arrive at a conclusion). 2) Tone of voice and rhythm of speech. 3) Rate of speech ( many friends have reported that I speak too fast). 4) Vocabulary: I find it hard to pick the right and the most appropriate words to convey my message precisely to the point; instead of beating around the bush. 5) Emotions: Sometimes, I find my emotions are interfering with my conversations and it makes me unable to convey my message effectively. I find myself unable to hide or control my emotions at that moment which reflects upon my facial expressions or through my tone of speech. What's worst is that sometimes, an expression that is an exact opposite of what I feel within gets expressed without my control. To be precise, inappropriate expression at unwelcomed moment. And I don't mean to offend anyone. How do I overcome this? 6) Continuity of speech: without making any breaking of speech (getting stuck at point blank) and to maintain the continuity throughout in logical order. 7) Sentence formation: Formation of small and simple sentence properly. Avoiding lengthy and reducing the complexity of the sentence and how to use appropriate punctuations (while using 'full-stop', 'comma', 'hyphen', 'semi-colen' and 'colen'). 8) Tips to break a large sentence into possible number of smaller sentences. 9) How to work on American and British English accent. I have made a resolution to watch your videos regularly with open mind and heart from the beginning of the episode instantly. Because, I may be missing something or I might have mis-understood some key concepts. Also, please guide me with your suggestions upon: I) Successful speakers, whose speech I must watch, learn and imitate. Both older generation and modern times. II) Famous books that you recommend to improve my English. Domains: Philosophy, Psychology, History, Culture, Religion, literature, Politics, Economy, Diplomatic relations. (I don't like romantic novels). My personal request: Also, put videos on spoken english, soft-skills, interpersonal skills, interview skills and strategies on sales, successful bargain tips, presentation skills and anything else that you feel important and appropriate. Don't stop here, please. And work on one domain at a time. Sorry to post such a long comment out of my curiosity. You are free to reply me at your convenience (either as a whole or in small part at a time and I would like you to know that I am not forcing you to reply me all at once. And I do not wish to interfere in your official time while working on other commitments (and especially your personal time). And I do not want to burden you by forcing myself and my responsibilities upon you. This I want you to understand. Please reply me during your leisure time on your convenience, ease and good will. I know that you have a busy schedule. And I don't want to disturb you. Lastly, I would like you to know that you are one among very few people who have inspired me a lot through your service; inspite of myself being inspired of goodness that I see in others. In nutshell, I felt like you are a living proof who made me realise today that help is not too far and especially help is just around the corner. Thank you once again.
And please clarify me on this subject. Which of the following sentences would be appropriate: I) I do not wish to risk upon the safety of customers. II) I do not wish to risk upon safety of the customers. III) I do not wish to interfere with the safety of customers. IV) I do not wish to interfere with safety of the customers. V) I do not wish to risk with the safety of customers. VI) I do not wish to risk with safety of the customers. VII) I do not wish to risk concerning the safety of customers. VIII) I do not wish to risk concerning safety of the customers. Is it mandatory to add the word 'myself' next to the word risk in above mentioned sentences? Thank you for your patience.
@@shreenivasansprobe2528 I prefer to express this way: "I don't want to take any risk with the safety of our customers". I don't want to take any risk for the safety of our customers. I don't want to take any risk as for as the safety of our customers is concerned. I don't want to take any risk concerning the safety of our customers. In my opinion "I don't want to take any risk" is better than "I don't wish to risk" "risk myself" sounds little bit odd.
