  • Social Work England’s strategy for 2023 to 2026 outlines that we want to share the data we hold about the social work profession and our regulation to support leaders and policy makers to drive change and ensure our processes are safe and fair.
We have pledged to deepen our evidence base on regulation and social work practice to allow us to better understand and improve the profession.
We will examine our initial analysis of social workers' diversity data in relation to our fitness to practise process, that was published in September 2023. We will look at the implications of these findings, and how we will build upon this analysis going forward.
A panel of speakers from Social Work England will be joined by Sarah Range from the Adults Principal Social Worker Network, who will share their reflections and views on the importance of data analysis for the sector.
The session will conclude with a brief question and answer session.
