It's almost insulting to the people who do this for a living and who haven't caused any injuries. Oh well, it's normal for commenters to not realize there's a world outside of what they know.

There's some videos out there where they have a camera and show you the insides, its pretty nasty looking

@@RoyaltonDrummer922 For people of Western descendent you would be correct. This practice developed in East Asian culture because they tend to have a dry flakey wax, opposed to the wet sticky kind, that can create discomfort after accumulating over a period of time.
