Love this video but I sincerely don't understand it. Can you help me please? CD 1 seems to install (windows 10), but when asked to insert CD2, CD2 will not install at all. Is there anything I can do to make it install? I have downloaded from my abandonware the 2 iso files, I presume each iso file is for CD1 and CD2. I can only mount them on a separate drive? Is this OK? Again, CD1 doesn't seem to want to install. Where did you get this special patch that contains the Super Pro 9.4? Might this patch be used to replace the unusable CD2? PLease send me the link for this special patch? Any ideas on how to run this game on 4K.. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks LM
When asked to insert CD2 I unmounted the CD1 and mounted the CD2 so it has the same drive letter (D:\ for example). Also, try to run all the installation as administrator, some old games seem to need that in order to install. I'm going to make a separated how-to video for Super Pro and all the info. will be there.

Did you actually install CD2 or ISO 2 before installing the patches? If so, how exactly did you do so? I'm wondering if "Safe Disc" on Windows 10 is causing a problem? If so, how can I get rid of Safe Disc? I can't seem to find all of the patches that you have. Many of them, I am directed to dead links that no longer exist. I also notice that you dragged and dropped all the selected patches into a file called USAF2. Please explain. Anyway, I'm all confused. After my CD1 is installed, it stops at the "terrain" files. Hi Leslie. I notice that you are in the UK and that is 6 hours ahead of us here in St. Louis, Missouri. It might not be feasible, but anyway, I tried again with your video for USAF install. Good news. I was able to install the 4 big files of SuperPro 9.4 into USAF2 directory. I don't know where the directory USAF2 came from. I only had CD1 installed. But I was not able to install Tackleberry patch. Which directory is it suppose to install to? Is there a sequence for how the patches are installed? It wasn't till after I had installed all of Superpro 9.4 files that the game automatically asked me to put into the drive my CD2, which I did, and presto, CD2 installed. Then I tried to install 3D3 wrapper, but it would not install and I couldn't duplicate or find the wine3d3.dll and the ddraw.dll files. I noticed, on your video, that when you opened up the USAF win 7 patch, (I presume that is the Tackleberry patch), 5 files came up and you copied them into the game directory in the "damage" folder of USAF. Is that what I'm suppose to do, or can those 5 files be dropped anywhere in the game directory? How do I know which directory to use: USAF or USAF2? I'm assuming that when you applied all the patches, when you selected them all at once and then dropped into either USAF or USAF2, that your CD2 or ISO 2 was already installed? Hi could you please make a video on how to install Jane's US navy fighters and especially how to run it? I was able to install it but once I run a game the gameplay is extremely fast (not how it should be) and then the game freezes. Not sure if this problem occurs with all Jane's flight simulators.
Dude, can you tell me about the game Enemy Engaged 2? This is my very first flight simulator, which I played when I was 5 years old, but then I didn’t understand anything. Can you tell me where to download it without mounting the disk image using daemon tools? Thank you in advance
@@thejetfighter i used to play it on win 7 with no issues, and since 10 and 11 are basically just overhauls of 7, i guess there is nothing much to it. finding roms of it today though. good luck with that im holding on to my discs
@@thejetfighter i also have somewhere burned a mod that improved the game a lot, i dont know wich version it was but im sure it wasnt the latest,maybe it can be still found on simhq forums. i would definitely play with that mod, made the warfare more dynamic and made the troops actually take over the objectives instead of just walking around. i think the version i had also made the apache available (EECH 2 was comanche and hokum, the first game was apache and i think havock ?)
I'm on it right now, Jane's FA/18 is the trickiest of the series to make it work on Windows 10/11. But don't worry, that video WILL be on this channel :-D
Followed steps exactly, but on the run USAFConfig.exe I do not show the DirectDraw HAL as an option, only my display card. I did make sure to copy and overwrite the ddraw and d3d dll's. Any advice?
@@thejetfighterI do run it as Admin. I was able to get the game to run. Can you tell me specifically what those 2 dll's accomplish? Is it a screen resolution thing?
@@thejetfighter cool! By the way I saw there are also problems with some ground textures... I see in the Iraq map... And in the menu of the game the buttons "abort" and "OK" are sometimes missing... By the way I play the game in German... From original CD 🤗 Rest seems to work... Also high resolutions and wide-screen support in game... Not in menu! Maybe you can find some fixes for all of us 👍 thanks!

Run the config.exe as Administrator to see if it shows all the options.

It worked without patch. I think there's another way to install this game, but I don't have that info.
