    My grandfather migrated from Wencang in the 1920s to the South Seas.
    Though buried 65 years ago, he will be proud that his ancestral land launches
    ships to space, not migrants .

      My dad came to my SEA. He was lucky to die in his ancestral home. Hainan is so advanced now from the early 90s. So proud of Hainan and China to together with her people in China and all over the world. Jia you .🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳💪💪💪💪💪💪💪🥂🥂🥂

      @@DongfangHour Once you're done with your clothing line. You should try to look up models of their space rockets and stuff. I would see some people on UA-cam with models of the Saturn V rockets, the shuttle orbiter and the ISS. I've tried looking to see but no go. Granted that China's space program is in it's infancy so modellers like AMT, Trumpeter and Revell don't offer any.

      I insist, this channel is one of a kind.
      Usually in English we find very few « Normal/positif/non propaganda » things about China.
      Even less about space program.
      So, love your channel, and I think with time with China space program developing and becoming one of the major one in the world, more and more people will follow your channel, if you keep a good quality video as now.

    looking at the aerial shots, if you squint, the area around the Wenchang facility looks not unlike coastal Florida

      Indeed, not unlike Florida. However, unlike Forida, Whenchang is administered by the CNSA which achieves sustainable results, unlike NASA.

    The JuiQuan one's color scheme is legit dope. There is a Soviet poster on space called Our Dream with a kid holding a rocket. Anything related to space should have that kind of feeling which have this dream-vibe. NASA used to do that but stopped I guess. Please keep making these videos. Insightful stuff.

    I remember the CZ-5 is nicknamed "Chubby 5" due to it's diameter, now I know why they're exclusively launched in Hainan. Thanks to your explanation.

The actual shipping is totally possible, but I would need to look into how to accept Alipay/WeChat Pay payments. I’m reading up a lot of Shopify documentation, would be cool find something in there to solve this problem.

    Cape Canaveral is Cape Canaveral in Florida USA .... Wenchang Space Center is Wenchang Space Center located in Wenchang, Hainan, China .... on the other hand, China currently has 4 launch sites, 5 if you count the floating site on the East China Sea where they launched satellites at one time ... the US has only 2 launch sites, Cape Canaveral in Florida and VAF base in California, but the vast majority of launches have been done in Florida ... 😂

      The comparison with European countries is always helpful to capture the size of Chinese provinces. Another eye-opening one is Sichuan, roughly the size of Spain…

      Most maps are distorted and shows the northern most parts as bigger than southern parts. So Europe looks larger than it is.

      @@armchairwarrior963 The Mercator projection was used by European sailors because straight lines on the map lead to the right coordinates on a globe which allowed them to not get lost in the ocean, not because of racist bigotry. But yes most educated people in the west agree that this map sucks now. That's why Google recently changed Google maps from mercator to a globe for instance

    Just for fun and getting some information about the Chinese space program and system, you can have a look at the Chinese drama "You are my glory" available with English subtitles on youtube. We even see Wenchang, if I am not wrong, at the end of the tv serie.

    Well Cape Canaveral has 10 active launch pads with 3 under development, the Hainan spaceport is a big step in the right direction for China, but they’ve got a way further to go to rival florida.

      No he just meant what he said. That mythical/famous missions were launched form Cape Canaveral. Nothing more and nothing less. He's just giving credits to NASA. ✌

      Maybe it could be said "epic" or "historic" crewed (not crude) space craft missions launched. "Mythical" might have a different connotation to a native French speaker. We are fortunate to have Jean Deville fluent in at least three main languages.

      Had heard that it`s used as a quick transportation between earth and low orbit, China planned to build massive low orbit object, maybe huge new stations with a width of kilometer. Another saying is, it`s used as a weapon that throwing stuff from the space to the earth ground.

    I heard that Wenchang is not perfect cause the course need to avoid Philippine. Don't know if there will be a better location in the future.

      The boosters and fairings were safely dropped into the sea on the 41 degree inclination before the LM-5B rocket body passed over the Philippines. Wenchang at latitude 19N is much better than 26N at Starbase, Texas, or 28N at Cape Canaveral or 28N at Xichang.
