Don't feel that you missed anything ...it would be impossible to find a song like this without the wonderful world of the internet...or you tube...there was no you tube in the 80's....so listen now young world...and let it inspire you now...and live...in peace..
Back when I was a kid in the 80's, we didn't have a lot of money to spend on luxuries like records. But I used some of my newspaper delivery money to buy a Men Without Hats cassette, and I loved it. Since the radio didn't play a lot of the really good 80's stuff, and I couldn't afford more albums, I missed a lot of the really great music from that era. But now, with the internet, I'm rediscovering all this fantastic music. People sometimes make fun of 80's music, but that is, in my opinion, because a lot of the "top 40" stuff from then wasn't really very enduring music. But Men Without Hats will endure forever. I feel like a teenager again in my 40's listening to this stuff.
@2620productions i wish i was born in 1968, i could have caught the 70s as a kid and spent the 80s as a teenager and grad student. that would have been awesome
The good thing about now though is, that we are living in the Golden Age of Music Accessibility, even considering the 2% of uploads that are censored by Big Tech (some re-upload some of them later anyway).
you guys did miss lots, i grew up on 80s music.. when people were listening to lullabies to sleep, i was listening to men without hats, dexy's midnight runner, jethro tull, and thats just to name a few !
It's unfortunate that the 80's music era was ended so abruptly with the advent of grunge and angry tasteless stuff. For the younger generation who feels they missed out ... you simply need to find the older stuff and listen to it and play it wherever you are and you will influence this generation to go back to the good stuff. Just don't buy or support the current music industry. One person at a time can make a difference.
yeah but here in the 10s you get EVERYTHING from the 80s but then also the 90s/00s/10s... so you have everything they had back then and a whole lot more! just like denver... the final dino saur! MWAR!

You missed a lot indeed.
Everything is invented by now.

@@UnknownUser-cm6kx there’s plenty of old music on Spotify. They have the full album minus this song
Why can't I find this track in the ''Rhythm Of Youth'' album?
MASTERPIECE awesome, "my cup of tea"

I love a ll these songs
Ready Player One invited me to this song!
46 likes, outrage! 46,000 is better like amount
They named an album after this song, but the song is a little "weak" and wasn't even a part of the eponymous album.
