Whales up close in Eden | Sapphire Coast NSW

Twofold Bay at Eden, NSW is famous for it's close encounters and whaling history. The whales are celebrated at the Eden Whale Festival, held on the last weekend of October each year.
The Sapphire Coast is one of the few places in the world you can see whales feed during their southern migration.
Whale watching charters sail from Eden, Merimbula and Bermagui putting you in the migration within minutes of leaving port.
The number of whales to our waters have been increasing each year and the season is getting longer. The best time of the year to see them is from late Winter to late November.
They whales are in good company, shearwaters also head south at this time, and the resident seals, dolphins and penguins are always entertaining.
