I think Ricky chose to be a light in people's lives. He pushed and motivated many artists to not just be the best in their craft but to also be the best version of themselves, he was a social butterfly and cherished being around people. I didn't get the opportunity to meet him personally but you can tell in all the tributes that he hugged everyone he met a little tighter and longer and always offered a shoulder to cry on no matter who you were. he was a once in a life time kind of soul. I was diagnosed when I was 15 years old and I am 28 now so I have been ridding this horse for a while. I chose to wear mine in a form of a strong independent woman and everyone's best friend and sister. I'm going to add light too. Thank you so much for this tribute.
