Well, that looks frosty, and a normal day around here. Worked on the tractor. The old truck. Always something to be repaired, Mr.Will. I enjoy your vlog.
Hi Will. What a superb beginning to the vlog, music, crispy ice on boat, and a well trained drone. Cracking job on the welding. Structural component, needs to be right, and certainly looks ir. Sometimes wish I could weld to fix odd bits on the old VW. And really I'd like to redesign its lifting/jacking points. One for the future!! Been lanoguarding my 2011 Scirocco rear subframe. Surface rust and plenty of it. MOT on Saturday so hope to get a close up under the car on the ramp for any missed spots! The spray gun was really good and it flowed well even at near zero temperatures. Keep well. 👍👍👍👍. Regards. Paul.
Great job on the van, welding to MOT standard is a great skill 👏. Mate, when you were fitting your diesel heater, I left a comment saying that the exhaust exit point needed to be lower than the heater, my own experiences taught me a lesson 😉
Will, the best thing I was told to was always run the diesel heater on full power only to prevent the heater coking up. Also for the boat safety the fuel line should be metal or like car fuel lines. Great work on Mr Van 👍👍
Hello Will, loving the drone shots and your music too 😍. Birds are loving you as well. I enjoyed watching you sort Mr Van and your diesel heater out, you are so good at fixing things! Just hope you’ve managed to get water and have a shower 🚿 now. Have a lovely day 😊🤙 PS I hope everyone watching your vlog today has subscribed for you🤞….. you are so so close to 10k
Just as well your a handy bloke Will, always fixing stuff yourself, what do all the other boaters do when they have problems, especially in the freezing conditions. I gave you a thumbs up before I watched your video because I know it will be good to watch.😊
They have to call out a mechanic or boo into a marina. Then, wait for weeks to get stuff done. I've never thought about getting a man in. My first thought is, how does it work. 😂 🤣 Thanks for the filfy fumb.
Dronetastic! If it lands on your hand, it's almost a pet? The great thing is... Mr Drone might be able to get all those shots of your behind the scenes ballet that we usually have to miss... 🤣
Another great vlog Will I hope everything turns out well with regards your heating system. Keep practicing with your drone as you can capture some amazing footage. Anyway buddy you and Tillerman stay safe and warm and I will see you on the next one. 😉🙂😃🙄😓
Looks like you are having fun sorting your heating system out.l guess the cold is an incentive 😊Your boat has got to be warmer than the ice box house l grew up in 😂
Well what can I say about your videos other than absolutely stunning. So full of interesting and informative content.. Although I have come to expect nothing less from you.. Welding ?? I have got to give you a massive thumbs up... A neighbour of mine made a stupid mistake when he attempted to weld his vehicle .with a MIG welder. He did not disconnect the car battery before he started.?? What would have cost him two hundred pounds for a garage to do the job. Ended up costing him over a thousand pounds to rectify the electric problems he had caused.??? I had to ask him if he would cut a wire in his home with the power going through it.??? Will what ever you do keep making videos explaining what people need to do when messing with any power supply.?? Or gas supply.?? There is so many people putting out the wrong information on the internet about this. It's truly staggering..?? Anyway smiler keep yourself safe and well. Filthy thumbs up
I did disconnect the battery. My little tiny stick welder is amazing. Although I did have a little fire inside the frame, which was scary. I made the mistake of painting underseal inside that frame. Dohhh.. I was really pleased with the result. Thanks again Wayne.
Hi Will. Getting there eh.. As long as you're warm it doesn't matter what it looks like under the fixtures and fittings. I guess the error code 😕 disappeared once uou redesigned the routing. Mr Van looked good 👍 Absolute winner. All tgd best Kev the brinklow kayaker
Hope your vents work. I have a large house and am looking at a hear transfer system from lounge and wood stove to my bedroom and my granddaughter's bedroom. Quote $2,500. Sigh. Once I would have done it myself. Thinking about it. Feeling the cold more as I get older, never used too.
My boat smells all the time of coal or wood in winter. That's something to factor into a house, i guess. Also, chimney cleaning and ash waste. It's a messy old job having a fire. 😂 🤣
Aw Will, I’m not sure about drones, wonderful has they are, it isn’t the human perspective is it… we look up, not down, where’s the wonder in that kid… that said, great ‘atmospheric’ start to the video… Will about the ice, don’t do anything on your own, let folk know when you go walkabouts, it was -6.5 at ours … there’s no heroics in situations like that. Safety first kidneys… heating systems on boats, I’ve been on 10 years Will, stick to the burner mate, run the engine for hot water, never fails.
I keep my fire ticking over all night and day. It keeps the boat around 18-20 degrees. If it goes out.. it's freezing cold. I love that drone. I've wanted one for ages. Just quick aerial shots give my vlogs a different dimension. Thanks for your support. Appreciate it. 👍
@ sticking to the ‘human’ POV, Ariel shots are ok, I have a drone, but I don’t use it for videos I post, stay safe 🙏🏼 I’m sharing the f*c outta your vids … 10k ‘will’ be yours…oh! Yes!
Ya I know the feeling. A week ago I got out to haul water to our house after 2-1/2 weeks of bidden our time. because of the roads and temp 12F. We haul 800 gals. every Sunday but now its when we can move. The county did not plow the snow this last week and it got warm in the night to rained so we have about 2 miles of winding roads with 2" of black ice. This whole last week I have been helping my youngest son put on tire chains on both driver axles of his semi to get different style trailers to haul feed barrels, hay, equipment around the western states. It takes about 2 hours to install the chains right and tight. I thought when I retired I would not have to do this shit anymore. BUT TODAY AND TOMORROW THE TEMP IS GOING TO BE 45F 50F ABOVE. Then its going to drop to around minus 5F below zero next week. So all laundry and dishes today and water haul tomorrow.
@@NarrowboatWill No this is not bad, I have only touched the snow shovel 2 times this year. In 64-65, 72-73, and 79-thru to 83 we had to dig out some of our sheep that ended up in the draw just SE of the main house in a blizzard and the snow was a little over 10' deep. after that I worked for a mining and construction company and the water line were on top of the ground. If the flow slowed down to much then we would dig them out by hand and spend days torching them to get the flow back. These were 12" and 16" cyanide pipes to the leach pads. I think about the deepest trench in the snow that ran about150 yard in a low spot was 8'. Being stuck on a frozen canal looking for stuff to do would be hard for me. Walking in the mud with my knees would kill me now and that's without hauling stuff back and forth. It's fun to watch you work on stuff and how you make repairs without spending money on the over priced stuff. Fun Fact; You know if a sheep has been buried in snow for 3 day's or more when you grab them by the wool to lift them out the wool will just fallout in your hands. Pink Sheep in the barns for the rest of the winter. The first named blizzard "Atlas" we had deer, cows and horses drown standing up behind wind shelters. The snow was so wet and heavy that they could not clear the snow from their noses so they drown as the snow melted inside their noses. Love the drone, can't wait to see what you do with it. Your kind of Artsy.

I grew up in an ice box house as well. No central heating.
I'm pleased with this heater.
Nice 1 Will, hope you got it sorted. Have a good day mate…
Thanks, you too!
Get a used ebspatcher and put it in the bilge and run it out from under you steps it will heat the boat and water very economical to run
I will a vrey in tntereting vlog all the best for now😊
Bless you Suzanne. 🙏

Thanks again Kev for stopping by. I must safe hundreds doing stuff myself..Mechanics charge £50 an hour and call out fees.
Cheers 👍
@NarrowboatWill yup agree with that. Leon saves himself a fortune 👏
Hope he sorted his heater out pity you couldn't fix it though buddy..

Be worth your while getting a low power consumption dehumidifier to keep the damp at bay especially at this time of year.
What was the ticket for?
That would be great if I was hooked up to electric in a marina..Not practical in really dull weather with no solar.
My daughter swears by them.
What was the outcome with the ticket ? Why could you not park there seems very odd in the middle of nowhere
That road is a 60mph road and I need night lights to park there. What the Henry?
@@NarrowboatWill what a bummer
Howdy Will
I was wondering if it was below freezing for let's say a week ,could your water tank freeze up ?
Stay warm
Yes, it could freeze up if I left my boat for a week. I keep my fire going, so it keeps my boat above freezing. 👍
After watching the work on the heater I think I would rather lay in the snow putting on tire chains.
😂 🤣 i feel that way at times.
What was the parking ticket for why can't you park there
I can't park there over night without parking lights on because it's a 60mph road or something. Bloody rip off
@@NarrowboatWill wow was it a warning or an actual fine I woulda thought that was off the road so didn't need any lights
@colin125gwr £50 fine. Bloody scam in my view.
@@NarrowboatWill Issued by the local police I take it is there any right for appeal on the ticket
Look like your frozen in time
Good one. 😂 🤣

Good job on Mr.Van. good luck with the heater, electronics can sure be a pain in the you know what.
It turned out to be a bad connection. Thanks for watching.
Morning Will! Is that the DJI Neo? Really good shots with that. Good job you had that heater working the freezing temps we've been having.
It's a great drone. So easy to use. I need this heating to be right. Stay tuned for my next upgrades. 😉
