- As first sultan of Egypt & Syria, 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡 rose to command Arabia's mightiest armies.
On November 21, lead as Sultan Saladin when the 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦 join Civ 6.
Throughout 6 DLCs that are scheduled for release between November 21, 2022 - March 2023, we will feature 12 leaders brand new to Civilization VI and 6 new takes on classic Civilization leaders.
The Leader Pass is available on Steam, Epic, Mac App Store, and iOS only. On Steam and Epic, The Leader Pass is included at no extra charge as part of Civilization VI Anthology, or can be purchased separately.

Porting a game takes even more time, that should be basic knowledge

More like on life support. And failing at it unless they get to work and actually fix some of the game's problems rather than just heaping on more low effort content.
I hope his ability is good, because this design looks way more badass, so I can play this one.

3. The Queen of Sheba as Sabaean Queen.
4. Dhamar Ali Yahbur II as Himyarite King.
5. Abd al-Rahman I ibn Mu’awiya, The Falcon of Quraysh, Caliphate of Córdoba.

I think this will be a new multiplayer civ. The bonuses can easily stack and for the civ lifer's new vid he managed to make it crazy
Luckily, I have a steam deck, or I'd be out of luck with civ 6. They've completely abandoned consoles, and its truly sad...

It would be awesome if they added Harun Al Rashid as scientific Arab leader and make Saladin more military focused.
Another good one could have been Abd ar-rahman I of the ummayads (caliphate of cordoba) since salah ad din was already scientific + religion focused.

The music from the first like five seconds of this - I don't recognize it. And actually, going back to the Abe Lincoln trailer, there's also new intro music but because it was just drums I didn't really notice. Is this just stock music for the videos? Or are these going to be included in the game in some capacity?

The Ayyubid dynasty prob should be it's own civ, but if not then it is more Egypt than it is Arabia. Saladin was a Kurd born in Iraq, grow up in Syria, and built his base of power in Egypt.

I really wish you gave Arabia a second leader instead of just a Saladin skin...
If you wanted a war focused Arabian leader who fits the "great negotiator" theme, Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan would've been a good choice instead.
New leader ability, Consol users are no longer able to play the game

Thank you so much, But FYI Saladin wasn't Arab, he's Kurdish, Anyway, It would be much accurate if you picked one of the Umayyad rulers such as Mu'awiya, Who hails from a well-known Arab dynasty.
Sounds like schoolboy opened the history book first time and made an amazing discovery LOL. Okay okay take it easy. Rulers often have roots of minor ethnics. It is okay.

I'm sure they will. Be patient. Main civ games always come late to consoles... sometimes years after PC release. All the other dlcs made it to console and I'm sure this new one will as well... just not right now.

As for Sultan Saladin, would this persona be a great fit for a Diplomatic victory? Arabia's other strengths are already split between Religious and Scientific victories; splitting it further with Diplomatic may be a tall task for Saladin... Looking forward to play this, for sure!
He's wearing armor, so might be a more military-oriented variation.
Judging by Sultan Saladin’s look he looks more like a diplomatic leader than a religious one, so I bet his agenda will lean more towards diplomacy than religion. I mean he is going to be in the Great Negotiators Pack.
Armor instead of robes makes me think he might be more military-oriented, but we'll see.
Why is “negotiator” Saladin wearing armor while the original is wearing palatial outfit? Wouldn’t this make more sense as a warlike Saladin, and the old one be the negotiator?
Armor and especially lot of good brave warriors are useful for successful negotiation.
His first greeting words remain the same in base game.
The same applies to other 'personas' - take Catherine de Medici or Roosevelt's alts as an example, iirc they use same dialogue

Is this for a different version of the game?
This season pass just add new leaders and skins for existing leaders. The latter changes the ability of the leader itself.
All of these are new leaders for existing civs, their leader abilities will be different than the existing leader's ability, which means you will play the civs in different ways. For instance Teddy Roosevelt can be played as either a culture or domination civ, while Lincoln might be more geared towards a diplomatic playthrough. It's a similar idea to what they've done already with England, France, China, and the US.

the song is an ottoman song, saladdin is a kurd-arab leader who lived hundreds of years before this song, why did you selected it
''Ya banat Iskandaria'' is an arabic song with the same rythm as Katibim, i dont think we could find an origin to this song, it is just part of the Middle Eastern folklore globally

Why do they all have to be standing tho? Kinda gets boring ngl. For some leaders it makes sense but for learned men who brought greatness to their empires not just through coquest but thru good and just administration and promotion of science them sitting or doing something else than just standing and gesturing would be much better

It's really a cheerful news for me! I am a new player in CIVILIZATION series ,and its amzing design is so attrative to me ! Thank you to keep developing the civlization leader, hope that you guys can publish both Ukariane and Taiwan leader in the game. Its means a lot.
