- Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga is in the spotlight again after he allegedly fired his driver who was demanding to be paid salary arrears. Asuman Matovu, Abiriga’s former driver, says he was fired on Friday evening and he insists the MP owes him two months wages.
However, Abiriga has refuted the allegations saying Matovu was never under any contract which entitled him to a monthly payment.
