All these videos of AI creating apps are not usable in real life but they do drive traffic for UA-camrs. I haven’t seen a single app that is a MVP, because simply maintenance and debugging are a nightmare. Refactoring and it changing code when it shouldn’t are a nightmare. I’m obsessed with AI but currently AI coding is mostly useful to those who actually know how to code. If anyone is interested I say go for it, but one tip is to make it create a skeleton structure first.
the amount of English you have to write to tell the AI to do something, is almost the same as just writing the app yourself. Also, a lot of code-review, gluing and patching, it feels like working with a junior dev.
I often find with paid apps and plugins that they never give me 100% of the functionality I really want. There’s almost always a compromise. I’m building my own apps and plugins now EXACTLY how I want them. Incredible.
I appreciate you sharing your work on UA-cam and aspects of what you are achieving are impressive. But how is this even remotely close to a Notion clone? You did not implement even a fraction of a percent of its functionality, nor did you tackle structured online realtime collaborative features, synching, accounts, apps, an API, scaling, etc x infinity. I think you would serve your channel better by avoiding the clickbait. AI progress right now is very impressive and can be extremely useful in real world application, but you are paving the way for disillusionment and wrong expectations.

It’s called a MVP. Minimum viable product. It’s how all software things are launched. You create a launchable product and update later
