I'm thinking of buying one of those, I mean black or blue. Which one do you think is better? Personally, I like black dial, but this time I want to buy the one that looks cozier.
There is another one i.e. srpg39k1 which can be considered the best looking srpg so far..I guess. I'm getting that one as it looks different from the rest!
I like the watch. Wish it came with Sapphire Crystal... I'm looking at the Sunburst Blue Dial on Bracelet, but worried the slightly domed Hardlux Crystal won't hold-up to every-day wear.
@@watchat888all of them are nicely composed but my favorite is 35 (black dial and beige numbers and strap) I hope it doesn't disappear from the market before I buy it :)
They look like split pins that would explain the arrows. Seiko use pin and collar on watches above the £1000 price so I would be astonished if this had screw pins.
Seiko5 series is one of their most popular series. so probably this is expanding to a different category of customers without hurting their presage line that much?
Nice. Congratulations on your new watch. Well with the current economic situation in the uk where I’m from I’ll have to wait till all the bills are paid before I know what i can and can’t spend this December. But it’s definitely on the list.
Don't think that is what I said bro 😅 I was referring to the dimensions by referring to the diameter, thickness and lug to lug measurements as a whole. But thanks for pointing it out how such presentation can lead to misunderstanding.😉 I agree with you there that lug to lug measurement is the most important measurement. 👍🏻
Good watch everything i need... Mainly day and date field with railway time. Only drawback is no sapphire crystal and the case thickness. Seiko auto are too thick compared to swiss or miyota! 🤦
Yeah, I think it's a reliable overall good watch. It's interesting that you brought up it's thickness with the swiss miyota. That's actually true and something I've not thought of 🤔👍🏻.
it's a boring everyday field watch...it has 12hr plus 24hr military with day/date...that is everything I want as a daily driver watch. This is a good watch if you can't afford the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic

It will hold-up.. there are 100 million watches are out there with hardlex for a reason
I think it is universal evergreen design, I like its simplicity
Agree. Less is more. Which color do you prefer?

Split pins are better
Can't decide if i should buy this or save up for a year or two and buy a Baby alpinist
Which Baby alphinist are you referring to?
Where is it made ???
Stainless steel

I think it's the right direction to go if you ask me. But they may have to change it to Seiko4 now 🤭
I thought it was exactly like the Hamilton Khaki Field
I’ll be buying this as my xmas present to myself.
I couldn’t wait for Christmas so I ordered it last week ;)

Congrats there Ashton Hannemann. It's a pretty good watch. How do you find it so far?
No worries Hd41 Hd41. It will come. It's just a matter of time 🤠
This guy thinks lug to lug measurements are ‘weird’? By far the most important measurement.

Haha it's not boring. But it is indeed a beater watch 👍🏻
Ham hasn't AR and 39 is a better size than 38/42...
