Thank you for answering me. I think it's time for new glasses 😜! It looked to me like some sort of foam, lol. I thought it might not be available in the states. Now that I know what kind it is, I plan to order some. In the meantime I am making your plant hanger with what i have on hand - 3 ply, 5mm cotton cord. It won't look as clean, neat and beautiful as yours, but it will be good practice as I haven't seen any pattern like this before. I learned macrame in the late '70s, but all I knew to use was jute. It really bothered my hands and I moved onto something else. I started back about a year ago after seeing all the wonderful things people were making and learned about the many different types of cord. I forgot 99%of what little I learned, so it's like being a complete newbie. Thankfully, because of people like you, I've totally fallen in love with macrame. I've seen many of your designs and you truly are an artist. I am subscribing so I don't worry I may miss any of your UA-cam videos 😊. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with! Again, TY4S your great tutorials 🦋.

Does the cord you are using (I have seen you use before) have elastic in it or a type of rubber? I have searched and searched for anything similar and have not been able to find.

It is 100% cotton and has no elasticity. :)

La longitud total de un cordón es de 450 cm, antes de la mitad del pliegue.
Requiere 6 cordones de 450 cm de largo y 1 cordón de 100 cm🙏❤️
