  • Today we filmed a pretty standard day in the life here on the outskirts of Davao City where we are living while we take a little break from travelling.
Join us in our local Davao neighborhood here on Mindanao Island - the deep south of The Philippines that receives only a few foreign tourists.
We ate in our favourite local Carinderia, checked out the sari sari shops, gave a little room tour of our apartment then went for some Filipino lechon to end the day.
Davao is pretty chill definitely one of the nicer cities here in The Philippines 🇵🇭

While other vlogs, the vloggers would only eat to popular restaurants here where only people with money can go, but yours is diffrrent. You even ate lechon with bare hands, that's truly admirable.

Love it, thanks for showing this ideas…I we can’t wait to visit in November! Everything is truly cheap in the Philippines! Only if Filipino people knows how bless they are with natural abundance then they would not be complaining of hunger.

Yeah it's affordable, everything is extremely low quality but affordable!

    • @romaengholm

If only you realise that affordability is relative. If you earn in a currency that is at least 50x more than the value of one pesos, you are 50x more blessed while you spend in the Philippines. Filipinos are not huge complainers, all things considered, so if they complain of hunger, they truly are hungry.

I checked in with two people, ID'S and everything submitted before check in. 1 towel for two people, I asked for a 2nd towel and was told it was 50 pesos. I wasn't happy so I came back downstairs with a 1000 peso bill. My 2nd towel was free as they had no change. I'm nicklrd and dimed to death in PH, you have same experience? Oh, yes, I know I'm an a**, aircon on with balcony door open now.

How about this we asked to order us a taxi the night before we went to airport, then on the day last minute magically he said no taxi so he will take us, then charged us more than grab and for twice the price he charged a filipino who tagged along...
