This is such a nice vlog. You really tried eating at the places of the common people like a Karinderya and Lechon House. While other vlogs, the vloggers would only eat to popular restaurants here where only people with money can go, but yours is diffrrent. You even ate lechon with bare hands, that's truly admirable.
Really appreciate your nice comment. Yeah we aren't better than anyone else we like to eat and spend time with local people. We're easy going, have a nice day God bless 🙏

I stumbled across this video today. I'm in the same exact room right now!!! Weird! Like when I stumbled on a random utuber doing a video on Songkran in Chiang Mai, and yup, there I was in his video. One more "coincidence" and I'm playing the lottery!!!
@EllisWR I've done Manila & Cebu, Davao was 3rd on my list. I just got here last night, late, "Red Lightning" Alert at Manila airport for hours, ground work halted. After 3 flights from Udon Thani>Phuket>Singapore>Manila, I was so tired. But, $125 one way, worth it!! I'll be exploring in a couple hours.
@EllisWR Hey, when you were here how many towels did you get. I checked in with two people, ID'S and everything submitted before check in. 1 towel for two people, I asked for a 2nd towel and was told it was 50 pesos. I wasn't happy so I came back downstairs with a 1000 peso bill. My 2nd towel was free as they had no change. I'm nicklrd and dimed to death in PH, you have same experience? Oh, yes, I know I'm an a**, aircon on with balcony door open now.
@@jayh.3354 Hahaha yeah he tried to charge us 70 for the towel even though we stayed over 14 days so we used one of our own lol... can buy a towel at the market for less than that How about this we asked to order us a taxi the night before we went to airport, then on the day last minute magically he said no taxi so he will take us, then charged us more than grab and for twice the price he charged a filipino who tagged along... Yeah we left the Philippines saying we won't ever return as we seemed to just be a walking ATM not fun. Keep running that AC with the door open i love that ahahah
Love it, thanks for showing this ideas…I we can’t wait to visit in November! Everything is truly cheap in the Philippines! Only if Filipino people knows how bless they are with natural abundance then they would not be complaining of hunger.
If only you realise that affordability is relative. If you earn in a currency that is at least 50x more than the value of one pesos, you are 50x more blessed while you spend in the Philippines. Filipinos are not huge complainers, all things considered, so if they complain of hunger, they truly are hungry.
@@romaengholm actually, they don't need to afford food as they are already in the land. All they have to do is find and grab it. I grew up in the PH and we used to just go in the wilderness and find food everywhere :)...
Just a thought, did you think of buying your own food and giving it to the lady that does the cooking and obviously pay her something for her time? 😊. Great vlog showing the reality of the Philippines with no sugar coating 👍
made me laugh when u said about noise and stuff, i find Philippines so chill but then i do prefer the provinces. prefer lifestyle there much more than here in uk. normally u crush the little chilli with the back of your spoon into the dipping sauce u made with soy and calamansi. lechon baboy goes so well with tuba lol

Bro $10 a day uhmm you're considered above avg if you spend $10 a day for food here. You can go as cheap as $2 but still enjoy the food. Well, you ate lechon so that explains the price.
@@EllisWR Ah i see i thought just food. I mean like if you eat in some fancy restaurants then $10 is not much for one person, but just somewhere avg, should be more than enough for food. I think $10 for everything is reasonable though unless you ride taxi. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Well, depends on your perspective and the area..
