Thank you for bringing a smile to this old man's face. A fellow I worked for when I was just a wee lad had fought the Germans in WW2. He started his war in Africa fighting the vaunted Africa Corp. During the battle of the Kasserine Pass he and a couple of his battle buddies got separated from their unit and was lost in the desert without food or water. He said on the second night when they had just about given up they came across a German forward base. They snuck under the wire and grabbed some cans and got away clean. When they got to a spot of safety they opened up the cans and they were the German version of Spam. He said they ate it and made it back to their own lines a couple of days later. and what did they get as their first meal in the mess hall? Yep... SPAM... Every time he mentioned that canned meat he would call it Damn in a Can. He was a tough old bird but would give you the shirt off his back if you needed something.
That is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for sharing that story. I really live hearing about stuff just like that. I am very glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you have an excellent day! Thank you
The ammo cans are from Harbor Freight. The lids come off, so it is easy to paint them different container colors. Ladies & gentlemen... The SPAMmo Can Thanks for watching Like & Subscribe
Glad you shared this with us! A navy vet buddie of mine got served spam 3-4 times a week on board ship. The spam was canned in 1944-45! There he was in 1964-5 eating the 20 year old spam! Spam doesn't have a shelf life,it has a half- life!! Thanks! ✌️🤝👍👍🤔😂💪🫡
I remember getting Viet Nam K Rations in the late 90s. I remember unloading boxes that said "not for human consumption, for animal or military use only". Your friend is an absolute legend!!! Thanks a bunch!
Thank you. I had been thinking about doing this video for a while, but I was racking my brain over a container to have all the SPAM in, then I saw that ammo can and it was like a light bulb moment. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video I went to the Minnesota state fair and walked right into heaven the spam display and ⛺️ needless to say I walked away a little poorer and a lots of heavy plastic bags of goodies 😀 well you take care my friend and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
loved the video buddy! I had no clue there was this much Spam variety lol I definitely gotta try that jalapeño version on my next camp out. thanks for the love and support, once again, I finally have a surgery date so things are looking up!
Wow $50. It makes me appreciate the gift even more. My beautiful wife and I prefer the SPAM with less sodium. Regular SPAM can be a bit overwhelming with the saltines I do like the Teriyaki SPAM though.
That Tocino Spam is pretty good especially when it's cooked to the directions on the label. (with a little water) It's a little bit sweet and when cooked right according to the label the water makes something like a syrup. 👍
I have yet to try it. I wouldn't have even looked for directions, but now when I do try it, I will be sure to do so. Thanks for tip! And thanks for watching
I've never seen the Figgy pudding SPAM, but I've seen most if not all the others you had on the table. Now black pepper SPAM sounds good. I like both the regular and the low sodium variants. And pretty sure I'm subbed to Junkyard Fox. IIRC, he and I are in the same state. Have an awesome rest of the week brother. And you mentioned breakfast and I never saw it come to fruition so maybe make that breakfast in future video? Cheers
I will, for sure! Have you ever seen (or heard) the "Jimmy Dean Complaint Call"? I was heavily referring it. If you haven't, check it out, it's hilarious. The Black Pepper SPAM was a little heavy on black pepper, they could have toned it down a bit, but still awesome. Thank you & I hope you have an excellent day!
@OliveDrabAlliance I'll have to look for that. And I love black pepper even when heavy. My favorite beef jerky is peppered. Got to seek that one out and give it a shot. Speaking of sausage, imagine if (and they might already) is a sausage spam. Then one could cook up, the sausage, bacon, and original spam and then make either breakfast sandwiches with it or burritos. Obligatory cheese and egg too. Cheers brother.
Junkyard Fox is awesome. I probably didn't even show 1/4th of all the SPAM flavors here. I hope you have an awesome day and thank you for watching the video. I recommend Teriyaki or Black Pepper or Bacon SPAM.
Iam amazed how many variations of Spam there is. Here in Scotland theres only 1 Spam the original.Thats about it. Thanks for the informative video about Spam etc.👌👍
I am 1/8th Scott, my Great Grandma Wallace is a descendant or William Wallace. Maybe someday I will return to Scotland and bring with me many types of SPAM.

Thanks! I picked up a couple ammo cans at Harbor Freight and I use them for thus and that. I had one extra, just sitting there and while getting ready to go film this video, the idea came to me. Thanks for watching
What? Wait… people just give you SPAM!? Is that, like, your super power? Could I stand near you just before I head out on a camping trip? Maybe deflect some of those cans, for myself? Awesome post, sir. Very enjoyable. 🤘
It's true! It's like when a rich dude looks kind if rough and people give him spare change. Hahaha. I feature SPAM in a lot of my videos so it's kind of a running theme. Thank you.

I like the spam with less salt.
My son likes the Treet.
The Bristol is ok.
The figgy pudding was selling for $50.00 a can on ebay last Christmas.

It’s not the size of your Spam it’s how you cook with it…Walmart spam comes in flavors too I know my kid likes the Bacon flavor. Have fun stay safe.
The Walmart/Great Value SPAM isn't bad, and the price is nice.
Now TREET? I Don't know about all that... it isn't bad, just different.
@SPAMbrand please sponsor this man
Dang right!

Shouldn't SPAM BACON FLAVOR really be called, "SPAMSVWINER"...?
It just might be called that in some places. My buddy told me today they even had a pumpkin spice SPAM.... uhhh none for me thanks!
Do two spam lite make a whole spam?
It works out to about a SPAM and a half.
Hahaha
Too funny!
