This is a nice township. If the issue of illegal dumping can be resolved, the area will be greater than it is. Watching from Pretoria.

Totally agree with you, Motherwell is a beautiful township, should be up there when compared with other townships around the country, illegal dumping in other parts of Motherwell should be banned, otherwise it’s a beautiful neighbourhood ❤. What township can you compare it to in Pretoria? Mamelodi? Thanks for watching😊

Watching from NU9 . And the dumping site at Spar actually got removed and a fence was put. I think this video didn't catch many of the upgrades and most illegal dumping sites have been taken care of. Anyways i love my hometown ❤(although i moved to greenacres recently)

Now it changed a lot and looks better. We used to go at market when working to build soccer stadium for 2010 world cup. PE is very beautiful. We stayed at a housing state beside Caltech

Watching from Motherwell, Scotland, does Motherwell have a football club? We have the mighty well (Motherwell f.c), a few African refugees who live in Motherwell started supporting the club, mainly younger folk.

The concept of Motherwell township looks similar to that of Gugulethu and Khayelitsha in Cape Town.

Motherwell is a township with about 140000 inhabitants (2011) about 25 km north of the Port Elizabeth city centre and is situated on the northern outskirts of the city's metropolitan area. It is separated into blocks called "NU"s [Native Units] (e.g. NU5 or NU8).

the only problem about watching videos in this channel, you don't interact with the locals, you just doing driveby and that's very limiting in terms of gaining information about the place, its history, the lifestyle, the costs of things and landmarks and stuff... try to be more interactive..

Motherwell kas'lam... we have 1 big complex that consists of shoprite; boxer store; clicks; hungry lion; kfc; cash build including standard bank; absa; nedbank; capitec; fnb; old mutual branches & etc.
We also have a test driving center and a mini complexes such as Spar and boxer stores which makes 2 boxer stores in Motherwell.
We have 3 KFC franchise and lots of different petrol stations such as Shell; Sasol; Engen & etc.
2 police stations including 1 court of law and home affairs offices.
2 active sport field in front of 469 bar lounge at nu2 and the other is located in nu9.
We have 4 community halls and the huge one is Raymond Mhlaba sport center with a vandalized swimming pool.
This township is huge but I do believe we need an attractive structure or something to be a destination for tourists.
