The cost of living is not high when compared in dollars to other countries. The problem is very poor wages . Petrol is cheaper in Nigeria than other countries but minimum can only buy 25 litres of petrol or 25 loaves of bread
Why would you compare it to dollars ? Do the masses earn dollars?
Make a comparative analysis and you will find out you don't have any purchasing power.
