Finally somebody explained one of the most important things in dirt work. Great job Drew 👍👍
Thank you sir. Thanks for watching
it was on the tip of your tongue. spectra by Trimble
Thanks for the video. I learned a few few things.
This is the video on UA-cam I’ve found yet for a laser level. Great job!
Thanks for the explanation. I was the grade rod boy when my dad was in the business. And he was using just a transit then but eventually got one like you there . Enjoyed the video.
Thank you sir. They are handy for sure.
I’d love more videos like this!!! Can you do some videos on how to do slopes with a laser?
I'll definitely try to do that soon. Thanks for watching
Great video! I noticed the WEB on the weather wrap, where are you located?
Great explanation Drew. Take care and have a blessed day and I'll see you on your next vidja.
Appreciate it Billy
Like the video, Have you ever tried using a "Lenker Rod"..also know as a direct reading rod? Makes grade reading so much easier and removes math mistakes.
Just found your channel and this was an excellent explanation. Thanks, this is what I’m going to try and learn to use to up my productivity next dirt season. Been considering a laser level for awhile but you’re exactly right just feel a bit intimidated by them.
Thanks for watching
@pjs5191. LOL. Just buy you one, and you will figure it out. 😁
A laser is a must for lots of projects man. You’ll love it
👍
Great video Drew! That was a fantastic explanation and extremely useful. 👍🏻 keep up the good work!
Thanks man.
Great video and explanation! Thank you for sharing Drew!
Thanks Jake. Thanks for watching
@@drewgardner81 your welcome!
You made it real easy to understand, couldn't have said it any better myself!!!
THANK YOU. THANKS FOR WATCHING
Good info to encourage folks to try it
Thank you. Thanks for watching
When u get a chance can you show us how you use the slope feature
I certainly will.
Spectra is the one that starts with an S
I loved this video. I’m still confused. But I know you know your stuff. So I’m gonna watch it again and again until I figure it out. We are just starting our channel. Maybe we can make some good stuff.
Anything I can help you with to understand it better let me know. drewgardner81@gmail.com
Metric is obviously the same principle, but so much easier. Everything building related is measured in millimeters.
Yes sir this helped
Good video Drew
Thank you sir!!!!
Wellllllll look who I found!
I think the other laser you were trying to think of was Spectra precision
Yep. I got CRS. 🤣
Stick with the Topcon, RL-H5A, very good and great safety features Nice video but little fast on the camera work, like me contractor not film producer 👍👍
How did you get away with not using the slope feature for the swale?
Probably spectra was the other one you’re thinking off, I’m about to buy one of these topcons
Yes. CRS hit me. 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching
Do they have this new thing called the metric system over there?
3 foot, 9/10 and 3/100's damn i'm so happy I use Metric!! 10 millimeters are 1 centimeter. 10 centimeters is 1 decimeter. 10 decimeter is 1 meter....hahaha
Rodriguez Ruth Robinson Jessica Gonzalez Nancy
I have the identical setup
I would like to have the dual slope laser one day.
@@drewgardner81 me too!!! Rome wasn't built in a day either!!! Easier than a string and a level though.
I feel motion sick
Just want to let you know the real pros use string lines 😁
I'm working up to a water level. Its pretty much 3D you know. 🤣🤣
But I thought ass bubbles was what the real pros use? Nice video Drew! Spectra is a decent level, But I love the topcon.
Thank you sir. I was hoping I explained it where people could understand it. Ha ha. Im not too good with words. Lol
@@drewgardner81 🤣🤣 yes!
@@Digginok 🤣🤣 I believe it is Frank
how lucky you are you don't have to use cm and mm
