    Hi Lu, for solo classical piano track, do you recommend using soft clipper rather than a limiter ?, because I guess the punchy agressive parts will have less power or attack in the case of limiter.

      Definitely something that is done and I’ve done before too. Benefit is lowering the amount of work the limiter is doing which is good when loudness is a goal or looking to maintain some of the mixes balance :)

    So would you say clippers add harmonics?

      They do and depending on how the clipper was designed to work. They can be shifted in tone :)
