Impressive card magic and he does deserve a wild card. I guess after Shin Lim's breathtaking performances, bar is set rather high for card magicians. By the way, his act of making 'Ace' disappearing really remains me of Shin Lim's act
how he had to get in as a wild card and there is all these singers is a shame, but ur right i think shin lim set the bar really high for magicians in general
The double and triple lifts were beautifully done and the way he palmed Terry's card and stuck it in from behind the frame while Terry was distracted shuffling was just genius. His drops are also amazing, he practiced and you know it!
So now with this shortened format a "yes" from the judges, really means we will think about it. This guy was great. Should have gone straight through, but I guess Shin Lim and Matt Franco have that category dominated.
I got in to magic a year ago and have learned some of patrick Kun's tricks and saw some familiar moves and other variations. But just that first phase with the cards takes so much dedication to make it look so flawless and not flash.
I've got news for you. If you, like the sheeple that are most of the people in this world, don't find out that these elite magicians do real magic, you'll never be able to become as good as them.
who knows david copper field, mc donalds aces shin lim's magic is a bit similar, but no one seems to notice. but they make their own version, like shin lim and patrick kun.

How could Dustin Tavella make it to the QF and not Patrick! Dustin Tavella is just using basic magic gimmicks wrapped into a nice presentation while Patrick is a true talent!

similar but the opposite of shinlim. patrick made the ace disappear while shin made the other disappear leaving only w/ the ace

Yes, but he wasn't chosen by the judges to advance further, so he has to be in the wildcard and try to win here for him to continue.
