Ah, Jegan, the longest MS to ever be in service in Gundam universe. From UC0089 to UC0133 (or UC0150).

Some mad lads still used Zaku 2's in UC0150 actually, no clue what they hoped to achieve but the old Zaku is like the panzers in real life where even to this very day countries in the middle east still field ww2 panzer 3's and 4's. Nice touch of realism in an insane way.

@@baronvonslambert In a way you described the whole tank issue Germany had in world war 2 which adds a touch of realism to that sort of lunacy in a military even in a far future fantasy setting. But yeah end of the day it all does boil down to new model kits they can sell or other merchandise. Funny how it works both ways though...

I think the Jegan D is a really good blend of Zaku and GM aesthetics. It shows how the Feddies noticed the good functional elements of the Zeon mobile suits and began to integrate them during the glyphs conflict.
The Hizack was too Zeon, and their suits, though attractive, are too complex to mass produce. GMs are easy to produce but the lack of complexity means less maneuverability.

To me Jegan D is a fed MS through and through without any Zeon influence.

Honestly, how much is it for each Jegan?
I think it's worth more than a fighter jet.
Isn't it too easy to break?
    Paper dolls are too much...

you forgot to mention the machine gun it was frequently given since beam weapons where expensive and the jegan has paper thin armor

Chaosmage42 Thnx for mentioning the machine guns! I forgot to add it onto the video

Sure, the thing is the armor on these mobile suits is ultra thin because they starting thinking since beam weapons are so easy to make now that they would be the main weapon. Since one beam shot cuts through armor of any type like butter they barely armor these ms. The thing is if you make all you troops out of paper thin armor machine guns are once again a useful and much cheaper weapon so they came back into play its really weird.

@@Chaosmage42 they are paper thin for lightness cause it is much better to have faster speed for mobility than heavy armor. It's just like the phase out of bb. Once guns and other ordnance became too strong that armor couldn't keep up the BB became obselete.

@@Chaosmage42 That's why you get those smaller but far quicker and stronger "Formular type" MS during F91 and Crossbone Gundam timeline.
Most commander/ace units aren't even armored with Gundarium anymore and, ironically, as a result, main weapons of many mass produced MS changed from beam rifles to machine cannon as well lol.

@@Chaosmage42 Actually Jegan is among the MS from F91 and Crossbone era too isn't it ? The federation was pretty insane to still use Jegan by that time.
