The only Gyrs I've seen vary from super white/white/grey/black, some white phase juveniles resemble juvenile lanner falcon's .... but the above hawk is quite an unusual beautiful falcon nice footage..
First tie I see that colour on a gyr. I belive the colour might be related to some bath or clays the falcon put in his body. Bearded vultures and egyptian vultures do take ferrugineous sands baths to make their colours look this red. Exeptional video!!!
@@lamaspacos The Gyr / Saker falcon relationship is still not clear but the word pure is even more misleading. How can any lifeform be PURE, its like saying pure water, it can't be by just being water its made up of other parts. PURE is used by salesman trying to deceive, like saying pure Peregrine, a bird that has at least 19 subspecies & a pair of wings!!
