so I just rewatched it and wanna mention that zhu yan called zhou yichen zhījǐ and it was translated like soulmate, but its actually have much deeer meaning. zhījǐ is like mirror of your soul, its a term that carries blood, duty and devotion, as well as romance and loyalty. friendly reminder that wei wuxian called lan wanji zhījǐ zhou yichen also called zhu yan zhījǐ also mr hunter called him zhīyīn and its literally translated like 2 "whom knows the melody" and meaning of that like a person who knows a melody of your soul (you also can check out a myth story behind it)
I loved them both so much. It began with Yichen and Wen Xiao and ended with them. Zhu Yan and Zhuo Yichen were truly wonderful together and their chemistry was extraordinary! This was a very beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤and emotional edit 😭😭😭😭 💔I am willing to bear the guilt of killing my best friend of all lifetimes to come
These two... I just loved every single interaction we got, their relationship developed so beautifully and the end was pure heartbreak!😭😭 Thank you for making this *stunning* edit!❤️🩹❤️🩹
They're the one that makes me hooked to this drama among other things. The graduation of their love hate emotion, the bickering, and their expressions that deliver the emotion. Bravo for the two actors for their hardwork. I'm gonna miss them a lot. Who knows whether there will be Season 2 or not, but their chemistry is superb, and it has been good elements of the drama. I'm deeply touched especially in scenes when one comforts the other in dealing with hurtful moments. Still can't move on from this series.
