Malcolm X worked for the benefit of the masses of oppressed Humanity, and that same who got benefitted keep Malcolm X alive long after those who were responsible for the killing. Everyone who was involved in the murder of Malcolm X, there is no mention of them beyond their expiration. Whereas Malcolm X has no expiration date, he and his ideas are alive today as fresh as yesteryear and shall stay fresh forever.
He worked to uplift his own people, black people. He did not work for the liberation of other nations(even though he supported people's plight in places like Cuba, he also supported African people's right to liberation). He was a black nationalist even after he came back from Mecca. It is important to not wash out that part.

@@DefaultUsername-o6r Right on. Let's have a kinder gentler machine gun hand. Really, there are no completely socialist or capitalistic nations. All have more or less degrees of capitalism and socialism. What we have in the US is a mixture of kindness and cruelty: we have a great amount of socialism for the wealthiest among us in the form of subsidies and tax breaks, and as soon as we want the poor to have free medical they cry its socialism in its worst form. For me, there are three issues: 1) get rid of the money and lobbyist running the elections and country, 2) stop the wars which are really about money for the few, and 3) democracy in every workplace so that working people have a say in their livelihood. It's the greed which ruins things.

capitalism in America is radical, hierarchical capitalism. Terrorism in it's purest forms, a truly dangerous ideology when taken to the extreme, especially when it wreaks havoc on minorities and actrosized communities across America and the world. America needs to clean up its capitalism or the world is going to be fed up, done and everything will come to a very awful halt.
I was so glad to get to talk to Professor Davis for a few minutes after listening to her message in Grand Rapids, MICHIGAN. I didn't know if anyone had told her the Civil War statue of a soldier across the street from the church she spoke at was black from the town's black regiment, so I told her. She's a very dynamic speaker, I'll never forget it.
Malcolm explained that freedom won't come without persistent effort and struggle. Frederick Douglass explained that the acquisition of a well-paying trade or skill would uplift the poor into a much better economic position. And so, the whole picture includes some struggle and some acquisition of new skills.
I'm pretty sure in 1857 Frederick Douglass said "there is no progress without struggle".....any Black leader of color anywhere on this earth knows by default that there won't be any results without struggle, sacrifice, and pure hell....that's how deeply ingrained racism is in this country
What is this sale out talking about , Malcolm spoke a lot about woman, meny times he talked about black men protecting there woman! He also talked a lot y the contrabution black woman contributed to the black struggle
Malcolm would have emerge somehow with the any other Group or Organization. With NOi he was speaking for Elijah Muhammad and when he left NOi you saw the reel Malcolm X...
I don’t know about the rest of it, but the joke she refers to is in the original Oxford Union debate - which is here on UA-cam! Malcom said he met with a female student, but then added that they weren’t alone. He told the audience he said this just in case anybody would get the wrong idea or because white guys have a weird hang up about this. I think he was just poking fun at the prejudices of white men when they think about black men and white women together. Malcom might not have foregrounded feminism, but I think Angela Davis misreads Malcom’s joke as sexist and at the expense of women instead of at the expense of biased white men.

Angela Davis you are a gift to human rights activism!!! ✊🏽✊🏽thank you Angela for all your work!
You can kill the body but the spirit will never die. Malcolm X will be with us forever.
Malcolm X critical discourse was a prophetic wake up call for America.

There would be no communist or socialist or black panther or Malcolm X if capitalism was not so cruel. They are a response to cruelty.

If you don't like capitalism and a the benefits that it's brought you go and live in a successful socialist one.

+maskedmaniac I have a feeling she isn't bothered to be at the Oxford Union - speaking to a load of dumb posh kids?
She's speaking about him from a Black feminist's point of view.
I felt the same way
Angela Davis love black people and she fought for civil rights for black people.
Thank for your comment listening to her she's a complete sale OUT! In my opinion!
We are all humans nether of any mankind are coloured
