First you are adorable. I felt your love for your grandmother and what you do!
This came out great... I am really surprised it did because I was taught to put the slate face down..the back is against the heat platen....
So that the slates sink into the pillow and you get all the nooks and crannies...

Thank you for the video! I have this same heat press and I have tried sublimating on rectangle slates. I found that this method only works the first few times, and then the pad starts to have an indent and will no longer press the slates evenly. Have you had similar results?
