I never understood why this film is so acclaimed it is very boring. Only time it comes to life is when Valentina Cortese is onscreen and when she isn't on camera the film goes back to its dull self.
Ingrid Bergman would have wanted Valentina Cortese to get the Oscar instead of her. Trouble is you can't really appreciate Ms. Cortese's performance from this teeny tiny clip, can you?
