I've made a 2022 UPDATED SLOWER VERSION of how to make your own custom water bottle labels! You can find it on my channel or here: ua-cam.com/video/VYS4n4-UniM/v-deo.html
Thank you so much!! I love how easy and cost effective this is. It definitely adds that personalized touch that I was going for with our hotel welcome bags for our wedding guests ❤️❤️
Thanks so much for the simple way to create these labels. It did take me a minute to find a question/response regarding the Nutrition Facts outline, but after reading your response I was able to do it. I think my labels turned out really great and am sure my niece will love them. Thanks again!
Great video! Probably the clearest and easiest to understand and follow of all the water bottle label tutorials I've watched. TFS! Can Canva also be used for chip bag templates? Thanks in advance! PS..Congrats on your new baby!
Wow that's so amazing and so cute I'm new here but I was so excited thank you ,I came on here to see how I would be able to make home made labels without having a Cricket machine and see this cute label thank you so much
Thanks so much I wish I could show you how my water bottles turned out for a power ranger birthday party I ended up downloading an image from google and I’m in love your so inspiring
Thank you so much! I am do glad you found it helpful. Water bottle labels are my go-to for all events! I made labels back when I got married in 2011 and now I make them for all events I do haha! They're so simple but I think they make a huge impression.
Hello this was amazing. Question once it’s downloaded and out in word, would the label shrink in size? Would it download as it was preset I the website?
Mine stays correct to size once I put it in word, but to double check, you can right click the image in word and click 'size and position' and under size you can double check that the width and lengths are correct :) I hope that made sense haha
i love how easy you made this look. my daughters birthday is on the 17th and here i was about to order some from amazon. thank you i will now try to make my own. what kind of paper did you use?
I used regular printer paper and just sealed it with packaging tape to make it sturdy and more water proof! Happy Early Birthday to your daughter I hope she loves her labels!
@@OceanDevotion0812 Regular paper would definitely not do well if you don't seal it! You can laminate it, or I personally just used packaging tape on both sides to seal it in! Mine has held up fine in coolers and with condensation as long as I put the tape on it!
Hi, thankyou for this video! I have 1 question.. My measurements are 8*1.4.. when I open it with word pad, the biggest I can go is 7.. is there any other free program that I can use?, that you know if.
You could try rOtating it sideways into landscape instead of portrait. You also might try changing the margins on your word pad as that is probably what is stopping it from having the full surface area. I use wordpad because it is free but if you have Microsoft Word it would probably work even better! :)
I don't remember the printer exactly but I believe it was just a cheap canon from walmart! I use regular printer paper for them and i just make them sturdier with the packaging tape! :)
Great Question! I actually am not sure what kind of printer it was, it was just a basic printer I think an inkjet. Nothing fancy. :) Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.
Yes, you want the label to fit the same size as the original and Microsoft word prints items true to size once you size it right in the program. So definitely keep it to the size of the label you need in word :)
I love your video! i am a little new to canva tho and you moved too quickly for me, i gotta watch this is slow motion 😂 But i got the gist of it and for my sons 4th birthday this june i plan to make some lables for his class birthday party. Thanks for this video
I just finished editing a slower version that I will be uploading this weekend! I’ve had many people say I went to fast so I decided to do an updated one and slow down! Subscribe so ya see when it goes up!
@@BurstofSunshine oh yay I look forward to watching that video too 😁 i figured out my design and sizing i did a test print and its perfectttt. Im currently struggling with opening my design in a word app and copying multiple times to print. im on a mac and i have microsoft word and it just isn't working for me.
@@tiffy6257 I use Google Docs for mine now! It’s free and you can open it up on a browser! I do not have a Mac so I’m not 100% on how it works on there but I would imagine it’s about the same!
No I have only ever used the free option. I use the desktop version on my PC so I am unsure if the phone app version of it gives you that option or not. Are you using a pc?
I made a rectangle or square in the color you want the border to be. Then add another rectangle in white ONTOP of the first one, just slightly smaller. It’s really just 2 rectangles stacked, but it gives the illusion of a boarder! 😁 I hope that makes sense. Then for the lines I just add lines in where I want them ontop of the rectangles.
I can't remember off hand, I just measured the labels that came on the bottle and made them taht size since alot of the bottles are different shapes and sizes!
Your videos are awesome. Thank you for sharing. Where do I find the step by step "slooowwww" instructions for the water bottle label making. Congrats on your baby :)
I apologize the video is so fast, I assumed a lot of people have a short attention span like me so I try to speed them up and sometimes I do it a little too much 😂 I will have to make a slower more in depth version soon!
Thanks for the video. I have a few questions: 1. I cant change the format. Is That only possible when you have a canva pro account? 2. I want to put a personalpicture in a element figure. Is That possible? Thank you!
I am typically able to save as pdf, jpeg, or png with the free version of canva if that is what you mean. As far as a personal picture on the left hand side of Canva there is an option that says UPLOADS, if you click it you can upload your own images to our project! :) I hope that was helpful and answered your questions. If you have any more let me know.
