Thank you for the unboxing. My credit card has been charged... but my copy has not yet arrived. Looking forward to it!
You are welcome. Let us know what you think of the game. I am really looking forward to playing this one
This one looks awesome. Can't wait to get it to the table. Thanks.
This is the @3MBG -- Cody crossover we've been craving (thank you Ray for your enthusiasm!)
Ha! Right!
You are welcome
I pre-ordered this game years ago. Can't wait to play it
Right? It looks awesome!
Waw, it looks really amazing ❤. Thank you for the unboxing!
You are welcome. And yes it does look amazing.
Really looking forward to playing this one! Thanks.
Heyyyy, good to see 3MBG getting some love from Dr. Cody
Indeed. Looking forward to playing this one.
Looks amazing! But if there's one thing that absolutely infuriates me about COIN gaimes, it's the action pawns: theres never enough of them, wnd they're always different, so you can't reuse the ones from other COIN games 😅😅
@@EmilioRodo I haven’t played enough COIN games for that to be a problem. Maybe it will emerge with more plays. Thanks.
I was following this project for some time and was excited for it's pre-order success, until I had a rather unfortunate incident with the designer. This really challenged my stance on keeping art separate from the artist. 3MBG is an over the top bully if you dare to express a contrary opinion. The only board gamer reviewer who I actually had to block! Anyway, from what I can tell, this project is probably the most successful P500 game on GMT with over 3100 pre-orders. So, congrats to all of those involved.
@@Ziplomatic007 Sorry to hear about your negative experience. The game looks great, though.
For the record Cody (And I am only talking to Cody), he was blocked by me for coming onto my channel to start a fight about AI after watching my comment locked video about our stance on AI. He found an unrelated video to start his rant on. He is pro AI images because he thinks greedy artists get in the way of struggling board game designers such as himself from getting their games made. As someone who supports artists and believes people should be paid for their efforts, i perma-banned him from the channel. Both because i have no time for those arguments, and because i had expressly stated in that video that i have no interest in having that debate over and over again. Ignoring that request shows he has no respect for others at all.
If that counts as bullying, then so be it, i'd do it again in a heart beat. Not wanting to start drama here Cody, but i feel that his slanderous comment needed a reply.
@@3MBG Thanks for the clarification. We could all do with less drama, I'm sure. In any event, I'm really looking forward to getting this game to the table. Thanks again!
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer As always, you are a scholar and a gent. Sorry about all this.
@@3MBG I made a few points about AI art possibly benefiting indie designers because it was cheap and got attacked for it. It's not slander if it really happened, and it's not heresay if it happened to me. But we have no room for this kind of bickering in the board game community. I will do my part and remain silent after this to keep it that way. I love board gaming and support everyone.
excited for this one! COIN is my favorite series of games
@@TB2K08 It looks like a lot of fun. Thanks.
Cody, do you have a review of Red Dust Rebellion coming soon?
@@jamesbarrett1555 Stay Tuned!
play through time baby!
Er... Maybe somewhere down the line. Gotta get this to the table for the first time.
Did you get a tracking or it just showed up? Still waiting on mine
GMT sent me a review copy, and they sent a tracking #.
+5 points for the unboxing, - 50 points for not even one "Adam Selene" reference
😂
@@DocHogan Fantastic!
Damn the box looks glorious but that board is really not even ok looking…what’s letdown visually. Cards on the other hand look amazing so the board really sticks out
@@elqord.1118 I think the board looks great. To each their own.
I actually have to agree. I lost count to how many times this was on my cart just one click away to just be dropped because of the way it looks. Apart from the illustrations on the cards and box cover, every other graphical design consideration seems an afterthought. And given how high it sits on my wishlist it is in fact a letdown.
@@caixanegra 100% agreed and some pros will tell you that this key to parse the game state yada yada yada…Gest of Robin Hood shows you how to deliver a kickass GMT system with consistent art top to bottom. Can’t deliver an amazing box cover like this and then run out of gas half way through. Just sucks
Who's RAY!!!!!
@@NoEnemiesHere Watch the recent Star Wars The Deckbuilding Game - Clone Wars Edition review.
it has a huge board as A Distant Plain but it seems too "schematic" to me 🤔
Some people have issues with the board. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer I will try it for sure anyway 😁
Just to clarify, Campaign cards are not part of a campaign. They are connected to Red Dusts ability to launch campaigns via the campaign ability, which represents different unions striking and taking industrial action.
Thanks for the clarification.
This might be the first COIN game I will not buy. One reason I like war games (and COIN games in particular) is the historical background. And that's ofc missing from this game. Plus the whole game board looks very bland, more like a generic euro game.
@@ExtraSqueaky To each their own. I’m a professional historian, but I love a good sci-fi game.
Man, that board is a disappointment. It doesn't convey a sense of place at all. No style, limited colour palette, even the city spaces are washed out 'watermark' art! This should have had canyons, mountain regions, flat wasteland, a hint of which side looked back 'earth side' and from where you looked into the vastness of space. Real let down. Even the card artwork is too dark and limited to dark or sand colour palettes. It's like you're playing on a big computer designed icon?! A shame.
I've heard some people on not wild about the board. I think it looks great, personally.
@@TheDiscriminatingGamer yeah, I like the game idea mind. Thanks for taking the time to show us anyway, I like your channel and style! :)
@@tommc6815 Thanks. I think Ray does a great job with these unboxing videos.
Its huge.. .thats what she said...
Lol.
