      I'm yet to build my set, but I am really looking forward to it. As a railway worker of 32 years in November, this beautiful set plays to my nostalgia and enthusiast. Well done, Maria, @Mind_the_Brick, stunning attention to detail, design, and execution. So pleased this made the final and was produced to richly reward your talent.

    I love this set, it is really well designed both in looks and in sturdiness. I have replaced the outside rails with 9v ones (or rather copper foiled RC tracks) I did cut of the ends on the RC to make them fit flush at the ends an alternative would be to "re-plate" the end to avoid cutting but I have a ton of tracks so I did not mind. The inside ones I kept as is.

      @@pastajensen that’s a good solution and when I connect this to my trains I’ll need to replace the track most likely with 9V
