Ive done a few car boots myself and the first couple of times the punters were like a flock of seagulls when i first got there pulling stuff out of my van! A good tip i learned off another seller is pull up lock the vehicle and go and have a look round for 15 mins. When you see the flock further down pulling someone elses stuff out, you are safe to go back and set up 😊

We used to seeing filming from the resellers. So it was quite interesting from the actual seller perspective. How you managed with everyone bum rushing over and bombarding with prices asking questions etc . you Held your own

That start was anxiety inducing - glad you sold your stuff but i hate it when people start rummaging through the boot or standing on the wrong side of the table when trying to set up - last time I sold had people pick up one shoe each and fight over who picked it up first 😂😂 and obviously people who think paying is just an option. Good space made anyway for the new carboot season!
50 mins absolutely loved it. Made myself a cup of tea and got a pack of digestives and loved it. I shifted my sticky stock and items I’d bought and hadn’t listed last weekend at my local booty. Was swamped by people and breathed all over as soon as I arrived 😂 took just under £500 which I was well impressed with. Good to get rid of it all and go again. Agree with what you said about just get it shifted 🤣 keep up the good work 👍🏼 hopefully another video later this year if you sell again?!

one thing i hate about bootfairs like hayes is as soon as you get out your car people are around you like flys and dont give you anytime to get yourstuff out and set up and so many people having argueing with you saying hurry up ..i feel intimidated as soon as you open your boot they looking in at taking things out .. there should be law where sellers to get in andhave 1hr to set up and they can come in
@@RickyResells i had so many arguments with people about it as so many other people have about them comming around your car and looking in and taking things out and some cause a diversion and there others take and walk away with it a few been caught but it black people that say £1 for everything...as well when you pay to get in half the money goes into there back pockets and not counted for and they walk around with your money and by things with it,, it all should be done or card that way no money is handed over to pay to go in

Ricky it's definitely a challenge fun doing a car boot solo but not for the faint hearted. You need to be switched on from the start with prices eyes in the back of your head watching people nicking stuff and giving correct people there change. Trying not to drink too much because you haven't the time or opportunity for a toilet break. Also better to sell bargain prices than take the stuff back with you. Another man's junk is another man's treasure. You made a school boy error no bum bag with you though lol.

So I’m not getting attached to stock, I’m looking at it, the same way Tesco look at their stock, for example How long I’ve got it for, if it hasn’t sold by certain cycle, it’s got to be gone elsewhere. When it comes to car boot sales, I have normally exhausted, eBay, CX and all of those types of things, and then it comes to a point where it’s just got to go That’s all really mate Space and stock rotation

It is when they don’t reject it because of disc condition mate. Everybody has an opportunity to check the condition of the discs when they buy from me. For £1 regardless, they got a bargain especially if they have a disc resurfacer. My Amazon delivery man just gave me one one day I didn’t even ask 🤷🏻♂️

You'd still make the sells if they were told to wait until stuff was unpacked. I do markets and refuse to do business with anyone comes behind the table or goes though my boxes before I offer the items for sell.
