What's wrong with Shine though? Like I get what you mean that they have a wide range and that's a positive thing, but Shine is a great song. They can nail the elegant and serious concept but they also nailed the playful vibe with that one. I literally cannot get tired of it is such a well-rounded song and it's actually more complex than it seems. Plus they still show their skills in vocals and in rap. I feel like rappers tend to get the most praise for harsh or fast verses but there's plenty more styles.

This song is not an easy song to sing and make your own. PTG simply shine so beautifully here. Of course our main vocals are doing their thing (Hong and Jinho). A special shout out to Jinho who is such a gift to music, his ability is insane. I really want to praise Shinwon and Yeoone here who's vocal tone and vocal ability shines through. Bandtagon/rock genre really gives them room to show their ability. We should just do a bandtagon concept/live concept once. Yanan's beautiful vocal tone is just so nice and it's also nice to hear him in lower register here and there. Kino showing us his vocals here too. To think that Shinwon, Kino and Yanan are sub vocalist is mind-blowing. What growth! The rappers are amazing, Wooseok made those raps his own and Yuto tone just spiced up the cover. Hey if you're watching this and its the first time you've seen pentagon, I recommend you to go watch their lovesick boys cover, and their latest mini album INVITE U. These men do not disappoint, their whole discography is a masterpiece. I was once a casual listener as well, knowing them from shine but their lovesick boys made me a UNIVERSE. Best decision I have ever made stanning them, I RECOMMEND FALLING INTO THIS RABBIT HOLE 120%.

Not the haters here. Pentagon are talented. They do covers in their own style, not how the original artist made the song. You don’t have to like it but at least respect that they’re seniors covering a rookie group.
I love how every members decorates this song with a pentagon rich full voices. They keep giving harmony to every person in ver good amount in different part, (esp. hongseok-shinwon, jinho yeoone, hongseok yeoone). so the voices are beautifully heard and especially the bridge where hongseok followed by yanan adlib and finished with Jinho (feat kino and yeoone this is sooo beautiful) this song is like their amusement park. Colourful . Edited: i think hongseok voice is very suitable for this arr, (comparing his in lovesick boys)
Seeing jinho's singing to SM song reminds me of his days in SM The Ballad. He was already a powerful vocalist, but he managed to keep upgrade himself, he's literally a top tier!

I really want to praise Shinwon and Yeoone here who's vocal tone and vocal ability shines through. Bandtagon/rock genre really gives them room to show their ability. We should just do a bandtagon concept/live concept once.
Yanan's beautiful vocal tone is just so nice and it's also nice to hear him in lower register here and there. Kino showing us his vocals here too.

concuerdo con que PENTAGON son buenos cantando en vivo, sin embargo no puedes decir que son mejores que otros grupos que son famosos, porque aespa es el grupo original de esta canción y sus vocales están on the next level, así como todos los vocalistas de la SM, ya que los entrenan muy bien vocalmente. Hay grupos donde vocalmente son estables en vivo, por ejemplo BTS, ellos en sus presentaciones de Butter puedes escuchar unas voces muy limpias y estables de parte de todos los miembros, así que PENTAGON tiene buenos vocales, pero no podemos posicionarlos por encima de otros grupos famosos, porque no sean lo suficientemente reconocidos

These men do not disappoint, their whole discography is a masterpiece. I was once a casual listener as well, knowing them from shine but their lovesick boys made me a UNIVERSE. Shinwon’s high note 03:51 is so good. I feel satisfied with his vocal. Not just him actually. Everyone’s vocals here are great. So much perfection that i keep repeating. I love Yanan and Hongseok’s voice. They sound similar but different. Idk how to explain but their voice sounds pleasing to my ears. Im glad i didnt sleep on them anymore❤️
Shinwon has improved a lot. He doesn't have a wide range like the others but his notes are very stable

Not the haters here. Pentagon are talented. They do covers in their own style, not how the original artist made the song. You don’t have to like it but at least respect that they’re seniors covering a rookie group.

I love how every members decorates this song with a pentagon rich full voices. They keep giving harmony to every person in ver good amount in different part, (esp. hongseok-shinwon, jinho yeoone, hongseok yeoone). so the voices are beautifully heard and especially the bridge where hongseok followed by yanan adlib and finished with Jinho (feat kino and yeoone this is sooo beautiful)

it's always pentagon, Im obsessed! No matter what cover they do on 'it's live', they always make it their own to the point where you kind of forger how the original song sounds like. I personally think Jinho has the perfect voice for the rock genre also yeo one's voice was pretty good here (just as their lovesick boys cover). I don't care if this was live or not, but NO ONE can deny how fucking good their vocals are, they sound incredible and they're pretty stable on stage too.
