Icho Candy is a singer that kinda grew on me. To be honest, in the early 80's I thought that he was a counterfeit Horace Andy. His tune, Captain Selassie, is what won me over.

I personally have had the experience of seeing him in action when I was in high school and sneak away with my friends to a likkle sound clash, I believe he was dubbing for supper Aries sound, don't remember the other sound, but trust mi de man wicked mash up de place a hundred time. i remember being at jammys in 1988 and icho candy was there and i never voice him but luckly the sound i followed voice him.he has this sound whhat he makes .he has a one away voice and i am sure prince junior is is brother and he is suppose to be related to sugar minnot. captain selasie two diffrent cuts one on the shank i sheck and one on the heavenless riddim the dennis brown cut.
