I love the conflict in FCG's mind, Sam really brings it out in he role play. The fear of what he might be before his current state, the denial of his origins and the doubt, you can really feel it.
This makes me realize how hard it is for Matt to stay perfectly in character(which is a relief honestly). He started out more high pitched, more casual, and using mainly simpler words. Then as he starts to explain the lore, or after being in character for a bit, his voice goes back to normal and gets more flowery with his words
That's the struggle of a worldbuilding DM. We have to give our players just enough to keep them interested, but all we want to do is explain everything in excruciating detail so that everybody can enjoy what we made at the maximum level.
I mean, I probably sound way different when I first meet people and then when I get more comfortable with people I feel more open to speak the way I naturally talk.
I mean they're programmed so they can sound whatever the programmers wanted them to, but it sounds if anything like FCG is the Devexian equivalent of Charlie. Maybe damaged to the point of memory loss? Definitely tinkered with by Dancer. I'd LOVE for Sam to have to speak with a Slavic accent for the rest of the campaign though
Maybe Bolo was weird because she was an automaton, a spy sent to gather information. She got shut down during the Calamity, then reprogrammed and repurposed. Bolo is FCG.
@@Oniguy_05 Grant Imahara, from Mythbusters. He was a good friend of the cast, and passed away suddenly a few years ago from an aneurysm. So they named an NPC after him, Imahara Joe.
I'm wondering if FCG's "tick" that we don't know about is because he was built during the Aeorian revolution and his "kill fleshbags=freedom" programming is in conflict
If FCG is an Aeormaton, HOW THE FUCK DID HE GET SMUGGLED PAST WILDEMOUNT TO BE IN MARQUET?!! The only way to Eisselcross other than Wildemount is the Shearing channel and only THE Revelry (by recordings) know how to sail through that!
Teleporting out of Eisselcross is pretty much completely safe if you’re using a teleportation circle, so getting him out would not have been a big deal if a mage was involved
They did. Devexian left them in Aeor to explore what was left of their mighty city and the theory would be that they went around and started up the aeor-matons he could find still in functional order.
Doubtful, its been said in the show that Ashton and FCG have been going around together for a bit. FCG and Ashton left Basaras together to go to Drusar, which is where Cyrus got framed.
That still in character "I know," from Matt when Sam said Laura is a child has me dead.

FCG is from Aeor? Does this mean he should sound like Bolo?
Or Charlie?
Only if he wants to be a reporter someday

Is dancer bolo?!
I like to think that Grant is busting a gut in the afterlife over the antics of FCG.
Wait who is Grant?

@@Oleandra-13 oh , then I agree, he'd probably be laughing his butt off because of this group 😆
I would love to see Aeor somehow brought back up by the machines that maintained it, turning it into a haven of somekind for those like FCG
Such a good ideaaaaa!
I really hope they get to meet devexian one day
Wait, FCG woke up when the moon appeared in the feywilds...
Sam's thirst for CR Season 2 Devexian leads somewhere....

You don't think Marquet like the other factions has tried to loot Aeor relics.
Erika's face when she said "see you tomorrow"
"Laura...is a child!"
Coming from Sam? Hilarious...irritated that someone injecting "humour" into someone else pathos!?!? Odd
Laura almost always makes the 13 year old sex jokes. Its a fact now
He's not wrong
If someone can refresh my memory, didn't the Mighty Nein find Devexian in Aeor?
They did. Devexian left them in Aeor to explore what was left of their mighty city and the theory would be that they went around and started up the aeor-matons he could find still in functional order.
When did Travis swap clothes with Luis?
Man takes any opening and pushes the joke just that bit further in.
Is FCG the automaton that was stolen at the beginning of the campaign?
FCG directly met the owner of that particular piece of cargo. I think she would have said something if they were.
