Derrick Henry was rated a 4star athlete lol... When he never played any other position except RB... He played some LB but my guess is that they just put him out there to blitz and never practice as a LB or watched film with the defense....lol... They really just kept him a secret by not hyping him to his potential... They did the same thing with Brady, Faulk, Harrison, Amon-Ra and Andrew Luck
He was definitely a 5 star in reality… sad part is they originally had him at a 3 star, then bumped him to a 4 star. But definitely should’ve been a 5 star.. rankings are just a man’s opinion tho. Doesn’t matter. The truth gets revealed on Saturdays/Sundays

As a fan who watched Barry play in person…I have to agree. It’s that initial burst that can’t be taught. His patience and vision remind me of Barry. First time I’ve seen any running back remind me of the greatest there ever was.

Great work overall. Will be back to watch more for sure. One detail worth noting: It does a disservice to the player and evaluators (casual or otherwise) if the speed of the video is manipulated. The time remapping here is subtle, but it makes an important difference (I watched it happen in multiple spots to make sure I wasn't confusing it). But the edit of footage is stellar overall and much appreciated.

People are overlooking a couple of things here.
He is very fast and can out maneuver just about anyone. However, he still doesn't have the physical power to fight off a good tackle.
One man can take him down, and that wasn't something that New York had to worry about, Saquan Barkley,... and Barkley didn't end up doing squat!
That's not to say Detroit won't have a running game, I suspect David Montgomery will end up being one of the top five running backs this year.
Gibbs is very talented and can read an opening faster than anyone.
As well, he has the advantage of having one of the best o-lines this year, but Montgomery got a thousand yards last year using the leagues' worst o-line in Chicago!
People see the long runs on these highlights and never consider that he might just be dealing with one bad defense after another.
Go back and watch the highlights again.
See how many defenders were guilty of attempting a bad tackle.
Granted, his speed helped that happen,...but we're much faster in the NFL!
He'll do good ( there's no way he could do bad at this point), but he won't be what everyone else believes he will be.
