I’m using a Flysky GT3C controller and receiver, all I did was pop some blue tack around the receiver box where the holes are so around the hole where the aerial comes out as well as where the wires for the ESC and steering servo come out /go into the box. That should be enough…but in a worse case scenario I can cover the receiver in conformal coating which is what I do for the receiver I use when racing in the wet. No issues yet. Loving those shock mounts…I’ve got the same but not fitted them yet…so far the trails I’ve done (not too hard to be fair) haven’t really warranted any upgrades…I’ve just lowered the suspension slightly so there’s less gap between body and tyres.
Since making the video I've replaced the receiver with a 6ch, and submerged it in epoxy so is completely water tight now! Not had any issues yet other than range loss when submerged!
The FTX Kanyon will never be a TRX4 killer or an SCX10.2 - 10.III no matter how much money you throw at it or the mods you do to it, Nice try tho 👍😉 #CrawlSafe #StaySafe
Yeah been there done that, the FTX Kanyon is an awesome trail truck an that's it, take it to a real 1/10 scale crawler event and the FTX won't fit on most tracks due to it's XL size, you cannot compare an FTX Kanyon against any of the top 1/10 crawlers out there, my MN90 is a TRX4 killer 💪🤣

What sort of hair bun things dod you use I can only find cloth ones on ebay thanks
Search 'hair donut' it should bring them up, are usually 99p from most shops (Wilko, pound land etc)
Can you send me a link for the suspension arm links please. I don't like the chunky plastic stock ones
These are what I used, although several are custom lengths to match the kanyon, check the sizes first.
